Man crucible is terrible. I really hate how they seem to balance it primarily around making the matches stretch as long as possible instead of just making it fun.

I feel like they are so concerned with people abusing it to roll the slot machine faster that they suck all the fun out of it

But people have noticed that those ships where also in old concept art release around the first games announcement and are from a unknown alien race that was cut from D1.

So expect a new major enemy in Destiny 3 or next years major DLC

I find the matches too long also. If your team is behind the entire game it's painful

Come to think of it I don't think I've played a match that didn't end due to the timeout. The main thing bothering me is the size of some of these maps. It's 4v4 not 10v10. Makes no sense for some maps to be so massive and have so many paths. It's hard to find each other at times.
 
Looking at the Road to max power guide, there is one thing I don't understand.
Do the "power quest" for weapons like Sturm, get reset every week? Will they be the same, or will they be new?

Edit:

My Drang just has 260 power.
Should I even get Sturm yet?
Can I get Drang again, but with higher power level?

On PS4 but I kept getting disconnected, ended up turning in for the night. They're probably getting slammed, 11pm is a pretty good sweet spot between East and West Coast max play time.
 
It's honestly infuriating that Bungie introduced a competitive playlist in PvP but didn't include penalties for leaving a game.

The games can be very long and someone left in the second round of Countdown a moment ago.

If you leave a competitive game, you should be blocked from entering the Crucible at all for 15 minutes. The next time, 30 minutes and it also includes being locked out from strikes.

Man, a bunch of downtime on reset day sucks. Maintenance usually extends past their 4 hours too.
 
I feel like I was pretty good at pvp in D1. But holy shit I am god awful in D2. Total liability to my team. I don't know what gives, I feel just a step behind everyone, constantly confused on where everyone is, my shot is garbage. Man it's been a rough go so far hoping it adjusts or else I've really lost touch.

I don't think I'm handling the inherent sweatiness of the smaller teams well. I wish 6v6 would come back.

It took me a few matches (and sticking to Quickplay lol) but it's fun again.

And if you're Titan, Dunemarchers get you to the Heavy Ammo well fast.

This is when it started getting good.
