The whole thing was framed under "If I tolerate you, you also have to tolerate me" which was criminally dumb.
He's a white moderate. There are millions of them and that's a huge part of the problem. He tolerates the existence of black people, which is just a few moral hairs better than not tolerating the existence of black people aka the KKK.

Probably because "asshole" and "cunt" are cuss words and the n-word is actually a derogatory slur.
There was a whole thing on the word "cunt" here on GAF before where it was banned then unbanned, etc. I wouldn't use it but it's absolutely not the same as the n-word.
