You're wrong. I think a lot of America sees it as a pretty off-limits word. Call someone a cunt at work, you'll probably be fired. It still does not hold the weight of the n-word. I honestly don't know if there's a more hateful word in our vocabulary. It's literally putting an entire group of people on the same plane and worth as a piece of property. A piece of property that you basically have to put up with as a necessary evil. Something dirty and reviled.
It's funny, because in the case of boogie, if someone called him fat, they'd be an asshole, but they'd technically be stating the truth. Calling someone a nigger is just a way to put a false representation on someone else with the intent of putting them under your boot. People who use that word in that kind of hateful way are basically claiming that that person isn't even on the same level as other humans. You're not a person, you're a nigger. It's use is disgusting in every way and never acceptable.
I'm Canadian, as well. I've only really heard the word said in The Sopranos and Game of Thrones, and general internet goings-on. I'm not one to say it, but if someone were to say it in front of me, I'd mostly be surprised by the rarity of the word than the word itself.
Canadian women are likely the better consensus on this, though.
(Although this is all a massive tangent at this point.)

I'm specifically talking about words with a target. Dropping a fuck or a shit when something goes wrong usually isn't a big deal.
Apologies if that was confusing. I was referring to how he more than once noted I would not call Pewdiepie a racist (because I think he's more of an idiot and troublemaker than that) and would seemingly not condemn racists even though I named two by name very specifically. If that was not the underlying subtext (that I am white too and knighting for Pewdiepie despite going after him in every post I've made for various reasons), I apologize for taking it the wrong way or mischaracterizing his intent.

I laid out clear criteria for what I expect from a racist mind and what I would need to hear to think he is a racist instead of an idiot. Just reading your posts would give the impression I'm a fan of his, always acting in his defense no matter the situation. I don't like him or any content he has yet produced. If he meets that criteria in the coming days with his responses, he would be more racist than manchild.
I can only say I have no interest in defending Pewdiepie in any uncertain terms. I only want to be fair, honest, and forthright in how I approach the situation. Even though I don't like him, I am not willing to call him a racist if he has not demonstrated himself to be one to me. We do not have to agree and clearly will not.
Just so we are clear, I'm not the one who proposed him going away or disappearing. That is 100% in response to an earlier post by another member. I was like you responding to that idea and didn't conjure it up myself.
I am fully in support of anyone boycotting Pewdiepie or any of the other YT personalities over their politics or content (Pewdiepie especially because he's lowest common denominator). They are all free to protest his content and drop him and absolutely should whether it's this incident or for any other reason they disagree with. I am already boycotting his usual content because I find it to be utterly mindless.

Nobody has said it was. But unless you're prepared to tell me that the list of words people shouldn't say begins and ends with the n-word, it's probably worth evaluating the language we use in a thread literally all about the language some guy used.
