Well we'll probably have a solo one for Xenoblade 2. This might be it for Mario, maybe they'll announce the season pass this week. Have they announced a FE Musou season pass yet? Kinda wish they announced a second season pass for Zelda too.

Yes this one will be focused on Mario while I can see a solo for Xeno
About season pass ai would love them confirm it for FE warriors as they did for Hyrule warriors

Interesting, if Smash Switch is coming then I hope they include a proper story mode/Adventure mode

That said, I would also like a deluxe version of Mario Maker to be announced

I love the pre-direct hype and speculation, so enjoyable to witness. Have yet to see a Direct that didn't at least entertain me so I'm not too fussed over what they announce. Preferably hoping for more news on indies like Stardew Valley and Golf Story, bit more for Ultra Sun and Moon, and some detail on what Platinum are cooking up, be it a Bayo collection or something new entirely.

BETWEEN HIM AND GOD!!!

God's probably having a chuckle at how much we care about all this.
Yeah seriously lol

If we don't find out what Retro's game is I'll never play another Nintendo game in my life! Well, until Mario Odyssey comes out, that is...

And what's up with Nintendo having these things on a Wednesday/Thursday. Why can't they have it on a Saturday/Sunday so more people can watch it live?

Isn't Sakkari burned out from Smash? I can't imagine a new Smash without his leadership. Nintendo will probably have Bandai Namco make it :/

Certain fans like to take off hand statements/things said in interviews out of context and blow them out of proportion, making them seem like some sort of fact.

Sakurai has never said he's burned out from Smash Bros.

Personally though I don't see Smash being his focus right now. He's working on something new.

I hope you're right. I think he's wasted on Smash.

Hasn't he overworked himself to dangerous degrees because of it though? And I think Iwata pretty much announced Brawl without having him on board beforehand just so he couldn't say no when asked to direct it.

He may not have said it himself, but it's hard not to imagine he'd rather work on different projects.

Reggie Voice: "For those of you whose been waiting to watch movies on your video game console, now is the time. Nintendo and Sony have partnered together to deliver the first cross-exclusive game, Uncharted 1,2 and 3 will be available for the Nintendo Switch Spring 2018."

10/10.

Bayonetta/Vanquish only happens on One/PS4 cause they can't get Bayonetta 2. So if there is an announcement like that it will be Bayonetta 1 & 2 for Switch and maybe, I don't see it, but maybe Vanquish standalone.

By the way, is the hope for Smash Bros DX dead at this point?

That sudden LA noire remaster gives me sudden suspicion that gta iv or v might be in the works for this holiday season
👀
Could easily port the Xbox 360/PS3 version

I predict a captain toad x super mario 3D world bundle for release in December
For those that missed it on Wii U x a multiplayer Mario game since Odyssey is single player only

Unlike LA Noire though, GTAV has this insane online mode. I dunno if Rockstar would want to support that infrastructure on a sixth platform? Definitely think GTAV could run on the Switch just fine though.

as hyped as i am for this direct outside of release dates i want to hear atleast 1 more game for early 2018 outside of what we already know but i have a feeling we wont get the first half of 2018 lineup till either the end of the year or early next year direct. I expect either yoshi or kirby to be released in january or february and the other in march i expect fire emblem to be later in the year.

Have you all discussed the gamexplain predictions?

The guys stated that they had heard rumblings of multiple third party Switch games coming, and later talked about Phantom Pain, Dragon Ball Fighterz, Fallout 4, and Final Fantasy (15?) possibly coming to Switch. They also mentioned RDR and GTAV, but those seemed like strictly speculation based off of L.A. Noire coming.

Maybe these are completely off-base, but it is pretty insane that there is even a possiblity of such AAA third-party titles coming to a Nintendo platform. I would have never believed such a turn of events this time last year.

La Noire and Skyrim are (in my opinion) only feasible on Switch by being last- or cross-gen games. Fallout 4 and FFXV barely keep their heads above water performance-wise on Xbox One, and you expect anyone to believe that they can run on a Switch in a reasonable manner?

If it does turn out that way Nintendo either had to put in a bunch of effort to help devs optimise the hell out of them, or they all just run at 540p docked and 20 frames per second.

Xeno...blade... too?
He's actually predicting a stealth release today, giving no reason to talk about it in the direct tomorrow. Bold move.

In all seriousness, Xenoblade seems to be the most often forgotten about game in these predictions. Feels like if people don't play it, they don't remember it exists.

Because nobody believes it is releasing this year

It would boost Switch sales alot and it would also make Rockstar some pretty big bucks.

Win win situation for both parties.
Graphics probably would be slightly better than the ps3/xbox360 ports.

Anyway i hope it happens especially if LA NIORE does well enough for em.

Red Dead Redemption Portable is my dream tho.... I would buy that day 1. But seeig they are doing LA it might have a change afterall:)
