Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

I put up with the sturm last night and love it, with the hunter exotic arm you just into this really quick flow of switching between the weapons.

I think bungie is going to nerf rank ups. Its rather easy to rank up factions and thus get multiple legendaries and even exotic chances.

I'm not saying they should, but its Bungie. And they never liked too much fun. Is that Deej guy still involved btw? When I think of no fun I think of him for some reason, lol.

I sure chose a great time to purchase this silly video game! It finished downloading right as the maintenance started. I knew there was something fishy about it downloading uncharacteristically fast for PSN. You win this time, video games.

Seeing as this clan system punishes small clans.. what do you guys think is a good number of members for a clan to realistically be taking advantage of all the bonuses? My group of 3 is looking for a new home.

Kill 3 or more enemies, then reload. Rinse and repeat.

No, it's kinda weirdly worded. Basically, you kill at least two enemies in one magazine, THEN RELOAD for it to count. Basically, get multi-kills 25 times.

You have to kill 3 enemies, reload, kill three enemies, reload, repeat 23 more times. 3 enemies in one mag.

Go snipe some dregs and shanks on earth.

Thank you. That's much easier than I originally thought.

You only need 20 characters maxing out their weekly contribution (that's characters, not players) so even a dedicated group of 10 with multiple characters should be able to max out. Find a clan that you want to play with. :)

You can buy it again from Failsafe, no problem.
Ah OK, didn't know this. Thanks.

I dunno. I think its perfect. They don't drop legendaries over 265. Perhaps they could nerf the exotic chances, but I think Bungie decided they realized the error of their ways when they were too stingy with them in D1 vanilla. Seems they dole them out on a regular basis now.

To me, it seems Bungie has divided the game grind in three ways

(1) Begin Game Grind: Up to Level 20
(2) Mid Game Grind: Up to power Lever 260/265 (puts you into Nightfall and Raid territory).
(3) End Game Grind: Weeklies for powerful gear, Nightfall, Raids, Trials.

1 and 2 are smooth and not crazy time intensive. Im sure 3 will be MUCH slower. So we continue to grind them out.

Thats my theory anyway.

Thanks for this! Seems like the Arc Soul on Stormcaller will be super useful for my playstyle! Wasnt a fan of Voidwalker at first but the devour ability looks really useful. And finally, if I ever get the Starfire Protocol chest piece, im totally switching to Dawnblade again!

So when Xur returns this weekend, which currency will he be using? The Legendary Shards?

Join any open ones in GAF Clan OT. Get the sweet sweet rewards.

There's no way bungie would be able to tune public events already, I would hope it would take longer than that

That said I sort of hope their mid game is by design, it's a good loop running planets, doing public events and mini loot caves - would be a shame if they think it's progressing people too fast as it's actually a fun process

You should jump on PC and see how shit the hand guns are! Oh wait, your dead before you even saw the hunter with the hand cannon.

Console PVP vs PC PVP, completely different world. People who are good with the hand cannons are devastating.

Handcannons are great, even on console. I generally use a scout and handcannon combo if I have the choice. It's "sidearms" that are crap.
Sidearms are the equivalent of the pistols in CoD. They are useful for a finishing shot if you don't have time to reload. They have low damage and the burst/auto variants have insane recoil.
In PvE, getting a quick finishing shot on one of the many enemies is not normally important compared to the utility of having a second powerful gun. In PvP they will be moderately useful I suppose, as a backup during a handcannon's long reload cycle.

That thing is horrible.... but it's my highest light gun for that slot so I have it equipped :-/
There's no need for that. D2 takes all items from inventory and vault space across your entire account into consideration when determining the power level of drops.

Assuming you have it equipped for drops.

They’re not going to hot-fix reputation or public events guys. The progression involved with rewards raining constantly has been going on in destiny since the ttk. Bungie has been working to make the game less Grindy until you get to the top tier of levels. Why would they patch that out now when it’s basically their intended design?

Anyone over 280 know if combining mods is more like something that you "unlock" as a feature once you hit 280, or you have to be wearing 280 level stuff every time you want to do it?
