Much easier for law enforcement to access the phone now...
apple pay and face id...
you're going to look like an idiot
What will stop the police from unlocking your phone by pointing it at your face?
Was there a court ruling on the police forcing you to unlock the phone with your fingerprint? I believe there was, but can't remember.
This is not good for security.
I guess really don't understand how this is a huge step forward.
The front of this phone is really one of the most inelegant mobile designs I've seen in years. There's still some bezel and the black bar up top is really distracting.
This phone looks really ugly on the presentation. I feel like round screen corners on phones is gonna be the type of thing where we look back in 5 years and wonder wtf we were thinking.
The 8 looks more interesting to me so far.
Depends.that top bezel is going to be annoying af when watching videos horizontally
I'm dying at first demonstration of FaceID failing, LMAO.
And fully animated poop emoji, I DON'T NEED THIS IN MY LIFE.
Look at all this shit 12 year olds will love!
And yet it didn't work the first time the guy did it on stage.
Took them a while to catch up the Samsung Galaxy Edge...they def. seem very happy about that - cant blame them.
Yep. When I had my Galaxy Nexus, I was hyped as hell for facial unlocking until I realized I was too dark for it to ever work.
Show me this working at night, in dim lighting, on a dark-skinned black person and I'll be impressed.
