For example, say friend #1 is 265, friend #2 is also 265, but friend #3 is 300. Will it scale all of us or will friend #3 just be scaled down? I'm a little confused.

They all have a pre set scale, it wouldn't matter the levels. Its definitely easier to do activities if your higher than recommendation

Interesting idea here. It'd be something if they literally (theory spoiler maybe?)
actually had the Traveler inject the dead speaker with light or a ghost and he can literally speak through/to him afterwards.

There's always been a speaker he wasn't the first.

I'm fighting the urge to buy this game, mostly because I still have some missions to finish in D1... all of the changes simply sound so exciting and like major QoL improvements... D2 sounds much more pick-up-and-play friendly!

And this thread is moving at a CRAZY clip... without it all being "looking for group!" posts... which I got really tired of in the D1 threads... but that's all this will be as well, eventually...
 
Really want to play as a Fallen, but it would require more unique armor adjustments so I know its unlikely. I really like them though and the game seems to bring up the Fallen being the most similar to the humans.

I think it's random. People in clans, people not. Allows anyone running high level raids to match make with random. Equivalent of a dungeon finder in wow I guess?

Although thought they would have maybe restricted it to only those capable with the right power levels?

This probably needs to be revealed by bungie, as it seems like it was suppose to be a shocker moment and was the only reason I actually figured he died (big reveal, then he dies soon after) while it seems most people didn't think he did. Also there being more than one speaker doesn't really mean the whole system isn't a falsity, someone just takes the new role as the scheme master.
 
Any thoughts on how much Xûr will be charging this time around? I'm only 262 and have few shards or deletable legendaries right now. :-/

I thought that the Traveler can speak to him, but he can't communicate with the traveler.

Basically a single line communication.

I ended up buying a 1TB SSD because of that. 😂

Downloaded and installed Fallout 4 in literally less than 5 minutes.

That is living, my friends.

No he says he can't hear it. Something like "I said I was the speaker for the traveler, I never said I could hear it."
 
They better not outright delete those gauntlets. Those are what my hunter is wearing right now and they're the best looking gauntlets I could find outside of Young Aka Spine. :[
