Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

Regarding the Patch size:

Since the non-stop crashing I have to get my old launch ps4. The patch here: 4,xxx gb
Thought ok, let's see how big the patch is on the PS4 Pro and hopefully the same size (maybe they finally know how to patch the ce-error)... only 50mb?

So it's just random, who gets which size of the patch? (both console share the same account) And to be honest, it's quite big for just "guided games beta".

Xbox One patch size was 40 something MB. Not sure why one version of the PS4 has a much bigger patch.

There's always Wednesday...

On www.bungie.net but the login services are down atm.

bungie.net, click on clans in the header, should take you to a page to make one or search and join one.

Sign in is down on the site currently due to maintenance

Thanks a ton, was this scheduled maintenance? I noticed some hanging while unlocking some engrams last night. Even had a notification pop up that kept saying "Connecting to Bungie servers".

I was gone all day and figured maintenance would be over by now but apparently not.

Gear / Light Level progression is soooooo much faster and streamlined vs. vanilla Destiny. I can really just do whatever I want at any point. I reached 265 without any issue or significant speedbumps and then the weekly reset Engrams + putting on some Legendary mods got me to 275. People should stop freaking out about all those guides floating around.

I got the Nameless Midnight from Strike Tokens which will replace my Mida (which replaced my Scathelocke) for PvE, running the Reload Rift Warlock Exotic Boots with Merciless or Coldheart (or sometimes Riskrunner for fun).

I'm also pleasantly surprised with Crucible even though I only played two matches with a third one being cut off by internet troubles. It is not nearly as bad as I feared it would be with all the changes.

What's the NF this week?

Tried to get in last week's just before the reset but we where too low to finish off the boss in time. Went in with 258, 256, and a 263 so that's probably why lol.

The time mechanic is neat though the rotating burn thing can get annoying with having to switch guns out considering even on current gen the menus still lag. Better to just have everyone specialize in two elemental types across guns and class so you can skip the whole switching thing.

Destiny 2 is telling me that I can't play because too many people are connected, WTF? 70€ AAA industry fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Huh, well I guess I'm wrong. I'll still say I don't notice a difference at all, and I've played close to 40 hours(I think? Maybe not, but close) all on my Titan

i personal wouldnt mind if it like went gradually to a maximum of 100 K per level or something like that. its not really ppl grind for its nice the get dat bright tho 😎

If I infuse a Legendary that has a mod with a Legendary that doesn't, it still keeps the mod though, right?

So someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

Legendary 1 you want to power up is 275 with a +5 mod = 280
Legendary 2 you want to infuse is base 280 with no mod
Outcome is Legendary 1 base 280 +5 mod = 285

But

Legendary 1 is base 275 with no mod
Legendary 2 to infuse is base 280 with +5 mod
Outcome is Legendary 1 is now base 280 with no mod

Got it

I think you read that wrong

Maybe, I read it as "if I infuse a modded item into an unmodded item will it keep the mod?"
You don't keep the mod if you infuse your modded items into others, it also loses the 5 extra power level the mod gives it, if it's into a unmodded item.
