Did the NES Classic support HDMI-CEC? I’ve almost forgotten how to change HDMI input since all my devices do it for me, heh.

Doesn't work with the 8bitdo NES controller, just maps 2 buttons. Maybe a firmware would update it? Doubt it though, they'd probably want to sell a new one

Yeah, everyone in the US who preordered from Amazon UK got the same arrival date, though I suspect that it will arrive earlier than that.

Thanks, I'll get a controller extension cord or wait for a new version of the receiver. That upcoming 8bitdo wireless controller is way more than I'm willing to pay.
 
I'm getting mine a day early. I'm really excited. I don't think I've ever gotten anything before Street date. I'm excited to play these games I've never got to play.
 
Did any place in the US have these for preorder? I'm seeing people talking about their Best Buy orders arriving, but I was never notified they were up for preorder.
 
gonna try walmart at midnight and if i dont get one i am immediately going to target and waiting till they open no playing around this time like i did for the nes classic.
 
Talked with a rep at the “local” gamestop where I put in a pre-order. I’m told that even though I’ve pre-ordered it, and paid in full already, I’ll have to stand in line to be able to claim it tomorrow morning. Ugh. She said that is how they usually do things, but she’s not opening tomorrow so she isn’t sure if the manager is going to follow suit with their usual way of doing things.

She also said there are only 15 systems to sell, plus having the systems for the pre-orders. Guess I’ll get there kinda early tomorrow since all my shipped units won’t be here for a week or so.

So are you able to pick it up later in the day? I hope in the morning they'd have separate lines for pre-orders and walk-ins.
 
Glad my Amazon UK order just shipped to the US.

Good to know for next time that there is still hope even when Amazon says "this item can't be shipped internationally"

I ordered to collect and they said you might be able to pick up from midnight...but no email confirming mine is ready yet!

I feel another NES 2 week delay for me.
 
any comparisons between the controller vs the snes originals? how similar is it? Is the snes classic controller the same as the Club Nintendo ones?
 
Still waiting for my Amazon UK order to ship. I think I should still get it tomorrow as a lot of my stuff dispatches late and still gets to me next day but I always hate the wait!
 
I can pickup mine tomorrow, just in time for the long weekend at my parents' :) The memories!
 
Hoping I can jump online and in store pickup a snes classic at one of the 8 best buy's here in Nashville tomorrow morning like I was able to do with Metroid return of samus and the amiibo's!

Can you do that? What time would you have to log in to do that?
 
Got mine today from Mediamarkt (Germany), neat little device. I wish there was an extra button for the menu on the controller though.

Could somebody explain briefly the difference between 4:3 and pixel perfect? Is the AR slightly different, or is ist just even pixel multiple scaling?
 
Man so weird with Bestbuy it’s here because they used UPS for the air I assume but have transferrred to the post office. For delivery tomorrow...I’m wondering if I somehow got there before 5:00 with my tracking number if they’d release it.

Same situation; I don't think they would, I looked up my tracking number in some thing they have to see if packages are eligible for changing delivery to pick up, and it wasn't. Guess we'll have to wait for tomorrow -_-

(Mine got to my local post office at 2 PM today)
