Here in the Philippines we now have USA units readily available as of today. Very very happy

Is it still in stock? :P

Good thing when I went to DataBlitz, there was no line at all, just lots of phone calls.

Instead of ordering controller extensions just ordered a 15ft HDMI cable so I can have it on my side table for easier reset button pressing to go to the menu.

Missed preorders epically.

Went to Wal-Mart at 10:30. #6 of 25. 1hr30min wait worth not freaking out over uncertain preorders. Victory!

So glad they did 2 controllers this time around. The NES controller situation was so short sided. I mean we all asked what they were thinking with the units themselves but the controller scarcity was just dumb.

We did it boys!

Less than an hour to go Pacific time, Walmart employee brings out the SNES classic boxes, places then in the center of the ringed counter in electronics where we are in line.

Conspiracy is brewing because we counted a total of 45 based on how many SNES classics come in each brown box, yet they stated they had 40.

Have one ordered with Walmart but... you know, who the f knows if it'll actually ship so I wandered by my local Walmart tonight at 10pm. They had passed out tickets and their allotment was already gone. They had a fair number (40-odd) but let people buy two, womp womp.

I'm cool right now but if my order doesn't ship tomorrow as the rep told me, that cool is gonna fade real fast lol

Man, I don't get how FedEx can be so slow. Target shipped mine out today from Tucson, AZ to the Bay Area and the ETA according to FedEx is next week Friday, 8 days later. Even UPS is a max of 5 days for ground shipping from the East Coast to the West Coast. How can it take so long to travel such a short distance through FedEx?

Just received a notification from Bestbuy to pick it up tomorrow! Yeah! I missed out on the NES mini so this more than made up for it.

Got mine. Brickseek was right that store had about 34. I was 24 and got there about 9:20-30. They never gave out numbers so when I left, there were still at least 50 people behind me. Poor souls. I passed by Target at 12:45 and they open at 8. Zero people waiting out front. Madison, WI east.

Best Buy isnt doing a midnight launch right? Cause just got a text message saying its ready for pick up.

I showed up at 10:30 PM for what I thought would be a midnight launch. Only one dude in line. Made small-talk for a bit only for him to mention the store wasn't opening for another 11 hours.

Worst drive-home-of-shame in my life.

Got a call from GameStop earlier. Apparently they’re only holding pre-orders until 3pm the following day. Just a heads for anyone who pre-ordered in-store.

For Target allocations, anyone know if the 20 per store is accurate?

I warned way earlier in the thread about those. It MIGHT work, but it's extremely similar to how I've been scammed on Amazon before. They're way cheaper than very similar products, and they ship from China with a very long estimated delivery date (more than a month away). What happens with the common scam that hit me is that you wait a month for the product to arrive, and then it eventually gets marked delivered. That's when you jump through hoops to check the China post tracking number and find it was delivered across the country to some random address (and probably wasn't the thing you ordered). Amazon customer support will immediately refund you, and you'll notice a month later that the seller is mass-flagged with 1-star reviews, but by then they've taken the money and run.

The ones I bought the other day just shipped from NJ earlier; same seller (KLUE-Knight) so I'm guessing it's legit.

I always find threads for new products go to crap because it just devolves into who got what where and "I've got mine!" posts.

Also, pics of said box and device...who cares... we know what it all looks like.

Yes, I'm jealous. Hopefully get mine tomorrow!

Some Target stores are showing stock on their site. Only way I was able to order was using the Target app on iOS. Let's see if they actually hold one.

It's pretty nuts to think that at the time Donkey Kong Country released in 1994, it was considered a comeback for Nintendo's gorilla. I remember it being a semi big deal.

The crazy part to me is that this version of Donkey Kong has been a major presence on every Nintendo system since, with at least a few games in the series, be they ports or new games, being released on every Nintendo console or handheld since 1994.

The only Nintendo console to not join this DKC Donkey Kong party is the original NES!!

I mean the gap between the release of the original Donkey Kong arcade game (1981) and Donkey Kong Country (1994) is 13 years. Which means that same 13 year gap post release of DKC was reached in 2007!! WTF.

Maybe it's my excitement for the SNES classic tomorrow, or maybe I'm just tired, but I find this pretty crazy for some reason and a definite check in my ongoing list of facts that prove I'm old.

They fixed that glitch fast. Had it in my cart and had to reset my pw. By the time I reset the pw, gave me error when I tried to check out.

I was wondering how the stock went from 16x to 11x.

How are you seeing stock on the site? https://www.target.com/p/nintendo-174-super-nes-classic-edition/-/A-52826093#lnk=sametab just says that it's not sold in stores.

It worked very briefly on the site, but since disappeared. Managed to get it working in the app.

If I remember correctly, the stores that were showing it in stock were the same stores that showed stock on brickseek.

All of the units will probably be allocated to those in line outside of the store. On the slight chance they fulfill online orders first, the few who were able to order would be really lucky.

Is Walmart selling these now? Like it's 3 am est if I go down to walmart (Brickseek show's my local one has 2 in stock) Can I buy it now?
