Walmart.com shipped my unit yesterday via FEDEX Smartpost.

As someone who used to do a ton of commerce for work....hybrid shipping methods cost about 10% less than the standard ground but take 2-3 extra days.

If theres one thing id love to eliminate, its smartpost/surepost from FEDEX/UPS.

Very annoying, but I'm very glad I was able to get one.

im still just waiting for walmart to just ship.......I have UPS and FedEx accounts that I pay yearly for to skip USPS hand off......worth the $45 for UPS especially a year when you order a lot of packages off amazon. FedEx I just have them hold it at the facility.

Woke up, checked Amazon Prime Now and had one delivered to me half an hour after I got into work. Almost feel bad about how easy it was...

That's what I am doing as well. There's about ~25 people on line. I guess there's also target and toyrus on the same street if worst comes to worst.

There’s only 2 other people at my Best Buy. Target down the street was empty, and I’d be able to get it cheaper from there(employee discount), but I’d essentially have to wait an hour longer. Best of luck thigh, hopefully they have enough. Local Walmarts told me they received about 35 when I asked.

Got to Target 2 hours early. I’m #15 in line and there are now 23 with one hour to go. Supposedly this Target has 50, so there are plenty. This is at the Sterling, VA Target. Much better than my fail at Wal-Mart last night.

That's not how preorders work. You aren't on some kind of first come first served list. Your console is held to the side outside of normal stock, which is why in store pre-order numbers were kept small. Escalate this.

Side edit: IF YOURE WILLING TO SAY YOURE IN SOUTH FLORIDA, NORTH NEBRASKA, EAST HAWAII, WEST WHEREVER, BE SPECIFIC. YOUR BROAD STROKE COMMENT ISNT HELPING YOUR FELLOW GAFFER FIND A CONSOLE.

I plan to. I'm in Ireland.

In line in the mid teens at my local best buy (online thing said mid 20s for stock), three hours from open. I was here for the switch and even that I only needed to be here about an hour early.

So 9:00am is the earliest my dad can visit a store.

So Gamestop might be my best chance instead? How early would I be able to call them to find out how much stock they got?

Zip code is 33018.

GameStop has like 25 stock, people starting to line up 3 hours early.

Target has about 30, I got there an hour early and am #17.

Florida.

Let me know how many people are there. I was thinking of heading to that one, but decided to go to the one in gateway center.

There's about 20 of us here. Apparently, BB employee gave out some!e tickets around 630... No one has returned to hand out more...

I'm on vacation in Naples, Florida. Was up early and decided to check out the local wal mart about five minutes away.

They didn't have any because they didn't receive any. Guy said that was true of the other two stores in the area as well. I assume that's Irma related but I can't say for sure.

Took a chance to do a midnight thing at Walmart near me last night. Long story short, not too many people showed up and was able to get one for my brother and myself. #Bless

Mine got 31 total. Employee said they got an email that they'd get more in 3 weeks too.

Usually pretty accurate, especially when I was trying to track down a NES Classic last year. For the SNES, the Wal-Mart I went to at midnight had the exact amount that Brickseek said: 26. They had them sitting on a table behind the Customer Service register and I counted them.

Score!

Brickseek: 1
Walmart ladies: 0

Store had 12 just like it said. Worth the wait!
Now off to work :(

My plan was to get up and wait inline for target to open. My dear loving wife who I love so much went out sometime last night to walmart and got one!! There was a note on it. "You better put chrono on this! Love ya." Bless her.

Haven't been keeping up with the news, but is there any info on the "game trust" pre-orders from Amazon Wario 64 tweeted about a while ago?

I'm checking my order on Amazon and it hasn't been updated despite today being the release date.

Not bad. There's about 30-40 people here at the BB at Bronx terminal. Still waiting on a BB employee to come out and hand out tickets.

After all that I just walked into a Walmart and bought one without issue. Kinda feel bad after what I see people going through.

If there are any Columbus, OH folks looking for one, I drove past the Target on Hilliard Rome Road about 10 minutes ago and there weren't more than 5-10 people in line for a store that opens in 45 minutes. Guessing they have way more than 5-10 units.

Went to a 24h Walmart in Dallas at 5, sold out

Went to a store that opens at 6 and was getting 30, no one else at the store expect me and an employee who wanted one

Got mine!

Brickseek said my local Walmart had 19 when I went to bed, they are gone now.

Theres a Walmart a little farther away with stock, but its time for work. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If its easy to get without a bunch of hoops, Ill get it. But Im not going to change my life around to try and get a hold off one of these. Hopefully Nintendo follows through on the claim that they will deliver plenty. So far it looks like stock has been a lot better than the NES Classic launch.

Got one at 6am from Walmart. They had 30 and there were 20 people in line. They limited to 1 per person. Was orderly.

People in Electronics were on the ball.

Glad I decided to make a last minute trip there

I was in Maryland for clarity.

24 hour walmarts are a trap. You have to find the 6am ones. Early enough that many people won't show up on their way to work.

All Amazon preorders are in the same boat as you.

That's a keeper right there sir :)
