For anyone in center city Philadelphia, I'm not sure if eirher Target here ever actually got any, but if they did, they're both sold out.

Checked at 3 stores around 6:30 this morning.

Wal-Mart was out of units, Best Buy and Target had lines 30 people long.

I have to work. This is ridiculous. I'm not waiting in fucking line to get this thing.

Yeah me too. I woke up this morning and Brickseek showed 2 of the 3 24hr Walmarts near me were sold out but the 3rd had 2 in stock. I stopped by on my way to work but the guy said they all went at midnight.

I was going to stop at Best Buy and try to get a ticket then go back at lunchtime but decided I really didn't want one that badly since I can already play all those games on like 10 different devices I own.

I guess I'm just fed up with this BS that happens practically every time Nintendo releases something. Especially a plug and play device like this that should be much easier to get than a normal console.

Just got an order in at think geek. We'll see if it holds. Don't feel like running out and checking stores. Hopefully Nintendo does keep a steady stream coming through the holidays. Seems like they did get a good amount out there for launch day judging by the numbers being reported at Targets.

So sad that I’m at work, people are at stores with lines shorter than stock availability and target preorder isn’t set to deliver until next Friday.

I preordered and lost out by a week. Very sad right now because I was really looking forward to playing this weekend. :(

Same here
It’s weird. I didn’t get a shipping email but my wife has UPS alerts and she casually mentioned “what do you have coming from ThinkGeek?” I was like “WHAT?!?” The tracking has it set to arrive on 10/4 so you could try signing up for something like that. It’s worth a shot.

How’s the stock situation looking for Target stores? And how early could I call Gamestop for an answer?

As I mentioned before, my dad could visit a store at 9:00am. I’m just trying to figure out where I should send him.

Asking again. The soonest I can get stock confirmation from Gamestop the better.

I’m basically trying to decide whether to have my dad go to Target first or Gamestop. They’re both virtually next door of each other, but I don’t want him waiting around in one store when he could go straight to the other with the available supply.

Just got our tickets at best buy at 8 am. They're good until 1 pm and they had a few left over, so a few late people will be happy. I'm just happy I don't have to stand outside another two fucking hours.

Target at College Point in Queens, NY. They have 295!!!. Store just opened up. I'm number 153. Guy said you're guaranteed a system until 9am if you het a ticket. Godspeed GAF!

Edit: 295!! Fuck scalpers!

Even though I own a (heavily played import) SNES and most of the games on this already, I still have to say this is one of the best £70 I've ever spent.

It's super-convenient, perfectly recreated and limitlessly enjoyable.

5th in line at Target and i got hee at 6:30. Only about 8 of us so far. The Walmart i went to at 2am told me they sold out at midnight. This girl just told me she was there at 6am and the guy that was there at 10pm was told they weren't going to sell until 7am. Heard he was pissed and threw a chair, lol.

I looked up the order number on thinkgeek and it says incomplete

Both of mine have turned up now, not tried them yet as I'm waiting for delivery of a new TV.

I wasn't sure what I thought of the way they'd dealt with the controller ports on the SNES Mini but now I've messed around with it I really wish they'd dealt with it the same way they did on the NES Mini. I know it would be less authentic but I'd still prefer that.

LOL nice sticker. Not mine btw.

Good lord i would be livid if that was plastered on my box.

Why should it be much easier to get than a normal console? Just like a normal console they manufacture them and at some point they have to start to sell them to start making money. Demand is high, should they double the price?

Cool that some people are actually having success waiting on launch day.

With all the hullabaloo and how it went for the NES, you'd think the entire stock had been preordered already.

Follow up on my earlier post. Wal Mart opened at 7am. There was a lady that showed up a few mins prior. We walked back. Dept. Manager not there yet. Another manager went back to the security room, got the unopened boxes that had 3 brown boxes with 6 snes classic systems in each.

While waiting for her, two more people showed up. Limit 2 per person. I grabbed two after confirming those behind me would get one. Manager opened all the boxes to confirm. Walked out with 2.

Waiting at the Target in Alexandria, they have a bunch. I just walked up as they opened and they gave me a ticket (#45) and they probably have about 20 more tickets.
