Didnt get my best buy ticket till 8:15 and they arent opening the doors till 10am... this is crap, why did they tell us they would be handing out tickets at 7am for? Heck they opened the store at 8am for the Note 8 release.... rant over

Im getting a SNES Classic at 10am, im excited!

How do you get the tracking info for ups. Not sure how to see from the ups site without one
 
In line at my best buy, I'm about 15th in line. Just got here, never really done this before. Hopefully I get lucky I just want one and be done with it.
 
US Amazon really screwed the pooch with this one. Can't believe us who pre-ordered with them haven't even gotten a shipping estimate. Thankfully I was just able to snag one at my local Target - gotta join the group singing their praises. Really had their shit together and everyone who was in line by opening time (even people who showed up minutes after opening) was able to get one.

Now to decide which game to fire up first.
 
It's going to be a long and slightly stressful day of F5'ing my walmart account page to see if this fucker actually ships.
 
Mine's turning up tomorrow and I just realised that the only TV I have is a 55" 4K one.

Reckon it'll look absolutely, unplayably shite?
 
I have a gamestop near me I am going to try and get one, but the stories of everything still selling out and online selling instantly still has me doubting I'm going to get one.

With all the incompetence Nintendo has displayed with the NES and SNES classic you may not want to blame Amazon too fast. I bet Nintendo screwed up their allocation.

That's quite concerning, honestly.. I'm playing DKC now and I think I've spotted another frame drop in one of the first Rain levels. Not nearly as bad as the SMW drop though.

Weird that no preview I've read mentioned performance issues at all...

Waiting here in line at Best Buy right now. They never passed out tickets and best buy rep did a head count around 8, chuckled and said "oh you guys are good", and went back inside. Like that's cool and all but I don't want to take any chances. Few people were fed up and left, took the day off for this so hoping for the best.
 
At 7 a.m. Target had about 18 people in line, and at 7:45 they handed out tickets. They had 30-40 in stock and sold them all out by about 8:10. They also had like 5 checkout lines staffed so people got through really quickly.

I was so thankful I didn't have to patronize the GameStop line, since it was already super hot and humid with 1.5 hours to go before they opened.

Target was definitely the star of this release between my preorder getting shipped for next week, and getting to pick up my fiance's birthday present today. Time to cancel the mystery "who knows lol" Amazon preorder.

I didn't even get an email about it at all. Checked my CC account and there are two pending temp charges for it. Not sure wtf is going on with this.
 
My Amazon UK order was just delivered :)

Best Buy stores open at 9 am. 10 am where?
 
The guy next to me in line was also playing Samus Returns, so it was nice to randomly talk about the game while I waited. I also ran into a former coworker who had some sort of horrible cancer and/or stomach issue in his mid-20's and had to change states because his insurance sucked and wouldn't cover it. It turns out he has a colostomy bag now and they had to literally remove his colon, but other than that he was walking around and doing fine. I can only imagine having that happen so early, but at least he seems to have survived whatever he had.
 
Lots of stock in Houston. Got a ticket at bestbuy out of 150-200 and one from target out of 49.

Got to bestbuy 10 minutes before they handed out tickets at 7 and 7:20 at Target. Target opens at 8 and bestbuy opens at 9.
 
I go to Target at 630 for my switch and I was like 12th in line. It’s crazy I feel like I’m gonna be further back for a fuckng SNES in 2017
 
Friend of mine just walked into Smyths Toys (uk) during lunch and picked one of these up, no pre order and no queue. Seems to be quite a few round this area
 
I decided to leave the Best Buy line since they still hadn't given out tickets 35 minutes after they said they would. Got to Target and the last one sold in front of me.
 
Either there aren't that many around here or just a lot or people looking for it, but they're going quick in Michigan. Went to Wal-Mart before midnight, sold out. Went to Meijer quickly after still before midnight, sold out. Went to target at 7am this morning, sold out, then had to go to work. My boyfriend is currently in line at Best Buy for me, so fingers crossed lol
 
My wife went to get one at Walmart as soon as they opened. She said that the man in front of her bought the last 10 units they had. :/

Guess we will be trying GameStop and the BX when they open up.
 
Got one! Like I said before, Target at College point, Queens got a lot of 295. I was 150ish and they still had plenty. But line was still building up.
