I had no idea this came with all the "big hitters" from the era. seems its 90€ here, which isnt bad at all. Gonna drop by the mall and see if they have them in stock like they did Switches back in the day, if they do ill grab one.

Something about playing those games with proper controllers makes me giddy. So this should work on a modern tv right, unlike an actual snes?

Some pretty friendly and nice people in line, so we were just chatting and making jokes about the good old days of the Super Nintendo. Most of them seemed like they wanted the unit for themselves (not for scalping).

I was #49 in line. That particular Target got 65 units.

We were at the same store! I was #15 in line, got there at 6. The staff handled everything very well and yea everyone I was talking to genuinely seemed they wanted the system to enjoy for themselves.
 
Day Zero and someone has already fucked up their SNES Classic Mini by using Hackchi when they should have waited for it to be update.

Can you say "Schadenfreude"?
 
Trying my luck at a local GameStop here in downtown manhattan. Opens at 10. Waiting in line but probably like 30th in line. Not hopeful but I have the time to spare.
 
The biggest online retailer in the US (Amazon) and the biggest brick and mortar retailer in the US (Walmart) have absolutely bungled this launch. Amazing.
 
Just bought one at primenow.amazon.de in the munich region. Delivery in 2 hours and now happily waiting. Really great since I didn't get a NES classic in the previous sales.
They are also still in stock if others in the vicinity are searching for one.

I was the first guy to give it back and walk off. So pissed. My co-worker at the school corporation also works part time at that Best Buy and he said that the guy who said that has no idea and that corporate didn't tell them that. He wasn't even a manager. He's like a warehouse supervisor who was trying to throw his weight around.
 
Success at Rockwall, TX Target!

I was #3 in line! Got in line at 5:30am, and me and the other 2 guys were the only ones for most of the time we were waiting. It wasn’t until the last 30 minutes before the store opened that people actually started showing up. They gave out the 30th and final ticket 1 minutes before opening.
 
If this thing had NBA JAM....

Looking into getting a cartridge dumper so I can add my own legal games.

Finally got my ticket and I'm 8 outta 78. Like a good 20 -30 people in line atm. Any of Houston GAF near Gulfgate Best Buy and want to give it a shot, you might get lucky.

We still have to wait till 9 when they open...
 
Got 2. Maybe I return the Amazon one (99EUR) or some Gaffer would take it for that price :)
 
Got in line at my local Target as #22 (they gave tickets right before the door opened). Pretty well organized overall but yeah, if you didn't snag one this morning I'd say it's going to be tough to find one randomly in the wild.

The Target in Medford, NY is directly on my way to work, so I figured I'd stop by.

I arrived at 7:45, and I was #37 in line, out of 66 tickets. By the time I left at 8:20, they had just handed out the last ticket.

Yea, everything was super smooth and orderly, the staff was very pleasant about it, and the people in line were awesome.

All around a much better experience than the NES classic.

It seems most who ordered from Smyths had a good experience; no £10 markup (Hi GAME!), early delivery and well packaged. Shame Tregard had such a bad experience.

Same, Target I went to had 42, I was #19 in line. Manager was very professional and nice about handing out tickets and reassuring everyone in line they had a unit to give to people waiting outside. Everyone in line got theirs in a timely organized fashion.

Very pleasant experience, would highly recommend anyone try their luck at Target for releases like this.
 
Just got my SNES from Argos...

I actually registered here back when Argos pre-orders went up, but only got activated recently. I'm going to say what i was going to back then. this is my first ever Nintendo console, my sister had a SNES when we were kids (i got the Megadrive). Gonna bring back some memories playing Mario with her.

She had SF2 aswel...she always chose Dhalsim, used to frustrate me so much with his bendy limbs hitting a young me from across the screen :@
 
Strolled into target 15 minutes after it opened and got one without an issue. No one in line, but they only had two left. Apparently they had 40 in stock.

What a great day. Totally forgot it was coming out today but I went out with my wife to run errands. Target was our first top at about 7:50 and I hadn’t no clue why there were so many people in line. The guy handed us a ticket thingy and my wife ended up buying me it as an early birthday present. I was fully expecting not to get one at all. Fuck I love my wife.
 
Playing Super Mario World like this on your TV on your couch is nostalgia bliss.

Think i will also dive into FF VI (yes not III), Secret of Mana and a Link to the Past (for the 3rd or 4th time).

Super Metroid prove to hard for me and i play games to relax not to rage on it :p This game is fucking me over harder than any Soulsborne game or Nioh ever did on the bosses. Far too frustrating, quite fun to explore but too hard bosses.
 
Went to walmart before work and they claim they didn't get any, and don't know when they'll get any because they're being sent in "waves."
 
Best Buy at Union Square didn't have any. I thought about heading to Nintendo NYC but I gotta get to work. Guess I'll just have to wait and hope somewhere else has them eventually.
 
Was able to get one.

Quick question: Can the usb on an Xbox One power this? Was thinking of sending the HDMI through it and having it powered off of it if possible.

Yay/nay?
 
My Walmart order is saying preparing so hopefully it ships sometime today. I have a delivery date of the 4th so I'm not too worried yet. I do kind of wish they did release date delivery since it's a Friday release though.
 
Think there will be a multitap accessory so people can play 3p Mana?

Already started a 3p game on original snes, but it would be nice for those without the option.
