Got mine and my mates sorted.

Beautiful.

Got to Target about 20min after they opened. They had 65. All gone.

I tried my luck since my Walmart preorder still hasn't shipped. Looks like this is my last chance.

Absolutely livid with Smyths. They said I needed to update my payment details, so I attempted to, and the website just kept acting as if nothing had been input. So I contacted their customer services (they claim they have a live chat function but none seemed to be available on the site), and customer services said they would take 24 hours to get back to me. The same amount of time it would take for the order to be cancelled. So the only response I've got back from customer services is them forwarding me the link to the website once again, and then telling me my order was being cancelled because I didn't update my details.

Time to raise a stink.

Their website and pre-ordering system is a fucking joke. I pre-ordered an Xbox One S there last year. I chose to collect on release day. They charged me in the early hours of the morning but sent me a text message saying I couldn't pick it up until 4, not very useful when I took a day off for it. I bought it in Gamestop and had to wait a week for Smyths to refund me.

Got to Best Buy at 6:30, by 7:15, I had a ticket. By 7:16, the MOD said that everyone in line HAD to stay in line for the next 3 hours until the store opened at 10, and if you left for any reason, even to go to your car to wait, you'd lose your ticket. I handed my ticket back, telling them it was bullshit, that BBY has never done that before, and that I'm an educator who has to get to work so children can learn. The guy claimed it was "corporate policy", which is total bullshit as well, as your story shows.

Had my wife check at Target at 8, and it was already sold out.
I'd report their ass to corporate. It's never been like that anytime they've given out tickets. You were free to go anywhere, just had to be in by noon or you'd lose it.

My wife went to get one at Walmart as soon as they opened. She said that the man in front of her bought the last 10 units they had. :/

Guess we will be trying GameStop and the BX when they open up.
Thank goodness Target and GameStop (and I assume Best Buy) were restricting it to one per person. Letting someone buy multiples in front of you would be miserable.

Supposedly Wal-Mart was supposed to be limited it to two per person as well... but employees generally don't seem to care there lol.

Loving the complete lack of consistancy Nintendo put into the controller design of the American SNES when it came to the in software aspect of it all.

They did bother changing the small icons on the actual controller design in the menu's, but the big huge ass lettered ones used in the mini games went unchanged :'D

WTF at my walmart order. Still preparing.

Should have gone to best buy this morning and just picked up a console like my coworker.

Took a chance and walked into a Target 20 minutes after opening and bought their last one. If ypur in an area where Target hasn't opened yet you've got good odds

Missed the boat at the Target near work this morning. Hoping this pending charge on my card from Walmart actually manifests into something this time.

Also getting a bit antsy about my UK amazon order not making any actual progress since being shipped a couple days ago.

The Walmart I was at limited it to 1 per person. Said if there were any left after our initial line all had one they'd sell us 1 more, but we had enough people in line to buy them all.

Got one! Like I said before, Target at College point, Queens got a lot of 295. I was 150ish and they still had plenty. But line was still building up.

Also just cancelled my walmart order and then it said: " processing cancellation" lol

Images like this, news and comments from Reggie make me hopeful that I will pick up a SNES Classic sometime in the next few weeks. Unable to make it to any store this morning. Congrats to those who procured one.

I was a little pissed when Gamestop left a voicemail telling me I have until the end of the day to pick it up or else. Like, dude, I paid it off already, how you gonna just give my shit away?

One of the employees probably wants it to sell on eBay. Classy move.

Same here.

I really wonder at what amount they will restock. will it be 6 units? or a lot like the initial amounts?

No problem getting one at Target this morning - just booted it up. Making some breakfast and then diving into FFVI all weekend :-)

Got mine, was in line at Best Buy at 6am, was the 16th person in line. Had to wait till like 7:40 for them to hand out tickets and the good thing was they let us check out right there and then instead of waiting til 10am. Left the SNES Classic at home and now at work.

Whitemarsh BB finally gave tickets at 9am, 60 in stock with line then at about 30 peeps.
Glad they allowed to get away and pick up till 1pm.

Enjoying coffee, will grab on my way back to work at 10. Yeeeesh.

I was able to get two, funny thing is I wasn't going to be bothered but I woke up at 4am to take my daughter to a urgent care for something stuck in here nose, was released at 5:30am saw that Wal-Mart had stock and opens at 6:00am.

10th in line and they sold all 31 units
My wife rolled her eyes when I came out with two systems and a gallon of purified baby water.

Btw it was a star wars Lego in her left nostril everyone's fine a little tired but fine.

Huh... went by my local Target (Sterling, VA) this morning around 7:40 with a "fuck it, why not" attitude. Some pretty friendly and nice people in line, so we were just chatting and making jokes about the good old days of the Super Nintendo. Most of them seemed like they wanted the unit for themselves (not for scalping).

I was #49 in line. That particular Target got 65 units.

A very pleasant experience overall. Happy to have one. Good luck to those still searching!

My Target has 46 in Biloxi, MS and the like was like 20 people. Had some great conversation while waiting (I showed up at 7:15 and it opened at 8).

Showed up at a Target an hour before it opened in SWFL.

Number 18 in line out of 34 unites available.

Another Target a few miles away got 44 and we’re gone before the doors opened as well.
