The local Target just updated their stock numbers on brickseek from "Out of Stock" to 90 on hand. I can't justify going early, so I hope there aren't 90 people lined up there now. 35 minutes of anxiousness...

-EDIT- Wait a minute, they're already open. OK, trying them out. Preparing for disappointment.
 
Feel good story: I had a preorder so my friend and I waited in seperate locations trying to snag one for him. We both got a ticket in our lines, so instead of being a scumbag and scalping one I gave my ticket to a lady with kids at the end of the line who just arrived.
 
Soooooo... can I use the power adaptor from my phone or something or do I actually have to go buy a Nintendo USB power adaptor?
 
4:25pm and mines not shown up yet from Nintendo UK store, even had an email from Royal Mail saying it would be delivered today.

There's still hope, my BOTW came from Royal mail Tracked and it was delivered at 6pm.


It's a bummer, but thank fuck for Golf Story.
 
Okay, confirmed with another Unit that there are indeed slowdowns in SMW 1-4. Also, starfox appears to be running worse than I remember, with an even more stark contrast between fullspeed sections and frame drops with enemies on screen..

So far I'm a little disappointed, I hope DF does a full analysis of the emulation so that we get a better idea of what we're getting compared to original hardware.
 
My Target opened at 8a. Drove by at 7:20a and asked the line how many they had. They had over 120. I was only about the 30th person in line. The employees were commenting on how surprised they were to receive that many units.

Got ticket #39 from the local Best Buy two hours before they opened. Must have had over 50 units. Once it's in my hands I'm canceling my dumb Amazon preorder.
 
our 2 units arrived today from Amazon.de
my girlfriend ordern 1 when it went online and I ordered 1, when we arrived at home.
we or lets better say she is thinking about what to do with her unit.
I gave my second NES Mini to my oldest nephew for his 4th birthday.


unfortunatly, I wont be home before 10pm, but I hope we can play some Mario Kart later.
 
Lul I'm not really in the market for one but i just got a notification that Amazon will have some in their treasure truck, but I'm also seeing that they haven't shipped their pre orders yet, Wtf is Amazon doing

Slight update,

As far as I know the original order is still good for Oct 11, but this morning I almost crashed my car because a treasure truck alert popped up on the dash screen.

I made it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They did this last time with the NES mini. In fact, I am STILL signed up for an alert that never came, yet they put them on the Treasure truck TWICE.

I guess there's an argument to be made that even pre-orderers could benefit from this, but it's a weak argument.
 
I am really tempted to just get a SNES as a shelf piece to put next to this tiny thing. Freaking adorable.

Haters gonna hate on the purple vomit of the USA model but it is my damn childhood. Holy nostalgia rush. I mean I had an NES but the SNES is where it really felt like "MY" Nintendo console, not my dad's who let me play it.
 
bloody Amazon Logistics rang the door and legged it within seconds, before my son could get to the door.
Why wouldn't they let me have it delivered to a locker? Never mind all this home automation bollocks, what I really need is a secure locker for my house.

Hope they deliver on a Saturday, but now I'm stuck in the house waiting for it. Had hoped to play tonight :/

Yep Amazon are hit and miss for me now, especially when using Logistics. Tesco aren't perfect but they always use DPD and it always gets delivered before 11am. I'd say there's still a good chance you will get it today.
 
If anyone is looking for one in the Houston area, specifically Cypress, the Best Buy Cypress location on 290 still has about 30 units. Everyone that had a ticket already picked theirs up, so no line!
 
Anyone else with a wal mart preorder still showing “preparing”? Mine is supposed to be here Monday, no charge yet and no cancellation email
 
Target and Best Buy both had a solid showings this morning. Seems like you had to be there right before or just as the store was opening (at the very least) to walk out with one. Hit up other stores out of curiosity 20-40 minutes later and they were out.

Twitter was fun to scroll through. A lot of happy people, with some very bitter people swearing to never buy a Nintendo product again (wonder how often that they stick to that).
