I wonder how it went for those in the old thread that cancelled their preorder because Reggie said there would be so much stock that they could just walk in and buy one easy.

Amazon had to have at least a couple hundred on their treasure truck in Dallas. The line was over 100 deep when we got there, was even longer when we finally got in line, and when we got our systems, the line had nearly doubled in length.

I feel super bad for anyone who got fucked on preorder because it really seems like their allocation went to the treasure truck at the expense of their preorder customers.

Good luck and god speed to the rest of you. Time to try Star Fox 2.

Posting a ‘snezzie’ - it’s beautiful. The console is perfect. The controller plastic is a tiny bit less silky than I remember, am I mistaken?

And to think, I actually believed I'd be able to go to Walmart or Bestbuy tomorrow to grab one if my walmart order is fucked.

i dum

Jeez, the US version really is butt ugly in person.

Oh well, console itself has a really nice presentation overall. Love the box, easy UI. Played Super Metroid for a bit.

So far i have enjoyed a few hours, emulation seems to be tolerable for what it is. The controls i have had no problems with either, nothing has behaved outside of what i remember the games playing like. The scanline filter looks really nice on my 50" plasma, so far been pretty impressed.

edit: Never mind. Crooked bastards jacked the price too $200.

J&L Game in NYC just posted a pic on facebook of a bunch of units saying they have them in stock. Run you fools!

Amazon UK just delivered mine to the house, just received a text from them :) Friend is coming over later to get the one I bought for him from GAME.

How is Nintendo at fault for a store's policy to sell more than one per customer? Some of you guys are being irrational about this.

No, I'm wanting to hold Reggie accountable for BSing and saying there's no reason to pay eBay prices for this. Should I be happy that I only have to pay $150 instead of $300? I have a 8-5 job, I can't go and line up at stores that open between 8-10 am...

Haven’t paid much attention to this thing because I didn’t think I could get one. Well, I did. Holy shit this list of games. Going to have some fun this weekend. :)

Success! Definitely showed up way early to Gamestop than needed, but glad I did anyways. 20 people showed up AFTER I left the store and they already turned people away from the initial cards for the line.

There are going to be restocks through the end of the year, in one of the other threads people were saying in the next week or two stores are expecting to get the same number of SNES Classics in that they got for launch. I'd hold off on paying eBay prices for at least another week or two.

It's WAY too early to be calling for blood. Reggie and Nintendo said they'd make more and keep them stocked through the rest of 2017. If a few weeks go by or a month and there's no restocks, by all means call them out for being full of shit. But we're on launch morning here people. Follow Wario64 on Twitter and turn your notifications on. If more go up for sale in the next few days/weeks/months, he will be the first person to know.

I don't even see it listed on Target or Walmart websites anymore.

How fucking apt for a Nintendo product, the day it releases is the day it's just pulled off.

Struck out at Walmart last night but got one at Target this morning (was #57 in line, they had 80-something). Huzzah!

My Walmart order, placed 8/25, is still in "preparing". A CSR told me it would ship today but I am skeptical, thus the Target run. We Shell See.

Kind of reaching on the Reggie blame there. That's on the store if they sell more than one to the same person. At worse, people who wanted to buy more than one, just got back at the end of the line.

As far as the 100 people go, depends on where you live. In LA or NYC of course 100 people are going to walk in looking for Super Nintendos. This isn't a niche item.

They promised more and they clearly delivered more. I can understand being frustrated if you didn't get yours today, but you KNOW they'll be shipping more into 2018.

Well, Nintendo could threaten to withhold future stock from retailers who are pulling that crap. They used do that to retailers a lot back in the old days if they didn't follow their wishes.

Apparently from what i'm hearing is the Snes Classic Hori Fighting Commander wireless pad is a piece of shit.

it's spotty and disconnects. You need to be at close range to get any kind of decent reception and even then it's still bad.

Probably need to wait till a 2nd revision comes out or something

Your 100% right and now that I've cooled off I can say I overreacted. Its the thirst man, it got me good.

Woot!

I was not prepared for how tiny this thing is. Can't wait to dig into Super Mario Kart tonight with my brother.

Score!

I was able to pick one up early this morning. Went at 3 am and the store didn't open until 6 am. I was 5th in line. They had 6...

OMG I JUST GOT MINE AND I DIDN'T REALIZE IT HAS THE MARIO RPG AND MEGAMAN X YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, I haven't opened the box yet, does it come with two controllers? If so, can't wait to play some of these with my son.

It does come with two controllers.

Got one from Colma, CA BB. Apparently had about +200 in stock (only because the nearest BB in SF closed and they may have split their allocation to the two nearest BBs).

I wasn't even going to get up, but I knew Amazon was going to fuck me over with my preorder and I wasn't going to wait for Walmart to ship mine on 10/5.
