There is no risk. For the USB charging standard there is what is called a "classification" resistor on the board that tells the charger what the maximum current/power the device needs. Zero risk at all.

I bought LttP in gba, was very eager to finally play it. Stopped at the first dungeon, losing to the boss would get you to the entrance of the dungeon :/

Not true in my experience. I've had devices (including 3DS; I got a USB charging cable for it) not charge properly with a Samsung fast charger.

Samsung chargers have been known to send too much voltage and damaging devices. They have a proprietary standard. Qualcomm chargers don't have that issue.

I dont think thats the case in 3d zeldas but I dont lose in those anyway (except for Botw but the beast were really small, usually the entrance was right next to the boss).

Really? I haven't used my aukey quick charger (qualcomm qc 2.0)for over a year with anything else because I read people complaining about the Samsung charger busting up their ds4 batteries.

Every time I think about going back to play the original Star Fox, I remember the awful framerate & just go "nah, I'll go back to Star Fox 64." I wonder if anyone made a ROM hack that makes the framerate more tolerable.

yes... speak that truth to establishment power. i've never liked how boxy the JP/EU versions are. sure, there's some contouring, but overall it's always struck me as what a generic stand-in "VIDEO GAME DEVICE" would look like in a furniture store display. i've always loved that the US snes tried to do something different -- protrusions, for no reason! the purple / lavender face buttons on the controller are still so bold and striking to me. let us cling together

I believe the issue was with samsungs adaptive quick charger for the s6(?) which deviated from their other quick chargers. Qualcomm never had that issue according to reports online. I've used my qualcomm 2.0 chargers on numerous devices without any issues. There is a thread on here and reddit that details the exact issue but I can't link it atm.

Oddly I had no readjustment time. The controller still feels really good too me even in my adult hands.

I made a point to have these Orzly controller extension cables ordered earlier this week so I would have them on hand today.
They more than double the provided controller cord length and make gaming from the couch a breeze.

I'll echo the post about playing Starfox for the first time. I found it hard to tell what anything was. But even so I can totally appreciate how mind-blowing seeing all this stuff flying around must have been at the time! And it's still really fun.

It was the first ever 3D game for a lot of people. Mindblowing at the time no doubt. But yeah a modern game with that FPS would get ripped to shreds.
