Destiny 2 |OT2| Leviathan Wakes (Spoiler Tag ALL Raid Discussion)

Waiting around corners waiting for the other person to peak and team-shoot them doesn't really require "more thought" though. It's just boring.

Teams that sit and wait are weak to flanks. Flank em, peak and shoot and you'll either take em out, outright or you'll split their attention giving your team a chance to take em from the straight angle.

Angles and sight line awareness are key against teams that want to engage in the long range game. A lot of times if you rush those types early and pull some kills out of it, it throws them off their game and they fall apart.

So don’t play that way? You have to play with the team in mind, but slowly rotating with three other people doesn’t need to be the only way to do it. You do have to know where the other team is and how to pie a corner.

Destiny 2 will be offline for several hours on Tuesday, October 3

8AM Pacific / 11AM Eastern / 3PM UTC / 4PM BST : Players will no longer be able to sign in to Destiny 2.
9AM Pacific / 12PM Eastern / 4PM UTC / 5PM BST: Players will be removed from all activities. We advise players complete raid and Nightfall activities well before this time to avoid a Cabal victory.
12PM Pacific / 3PM Eastern / 7PM UTC / 8PM BST: Maintenance expected to complete. Players may encounter the Destiny Server Queue when attempting to sign in after maintenance.

The point is that this can not even be communicated with randoms because of the lack of voice comms.

This is a team based game constantly stacking solo players against teams, who can communicate. It just blows my mind.

Mist matches I play there is always that one guy that is just dicking off away from everything else going on that goes .4 and let's your team get stomped from sheer number advantage.

Anyone need 1 for trials? I would like to try it this week to get a better feel for the map, I have only seen it a handful of times in quickplay/comp.

Stepped into the raid for the first time today. Only had time to do the Gauntlet but it was fun. Shame there were only token drops and no weapons.

Looking to run a fresh raid starting as soon as we're full. Obviously not a blind raid, and we will be going into the underbelly to get all the chests people may need. It's preferable if you know the encounters to make this run as fast and smooth as possible, but in any case be willing to listen.

Reposting for the new page, we only need one more person and we're good to go.

Anybody wants to run a regular Nightfall? Need to run it with my Hunter, lvl 295. PSN Shokleeto, I can start in 5-10 mins.

What kind of mods can Titan leg armor have? Is there a full breakdown somewhere what kind of mods can drop on specific gear and classes?

Tried a few attempts at prestige nightfall and made it to 20% of the boss' HP. Unfortunately group had to disperse. If anyone else wants to do prestige NF soon ish let me know. 304 smoke bomb hunter

Is there any gear that grants a Hunter a second melee? I miss my dual smoke bombs from D1, and the longer cooldowns in this game make them much less useful.

Also, is it me or does the tether have far less range? I use it often in PvE and it seems to snag almost nothing every time.

Guys is it just me or does Hunter feel very lackluster and exceptionally squishy in PvE?

Taking advantage of Hunter's invisibility abilities tends to help for survivability.

Also the Hunter is the best at creating orbs of light, and has some really helpful supers (teathers remain awesome)

More importantly:

Yeah, I've noticed that too. Range seems better if you actually hit something with your arrow first, though.

So its basically get better, fair enough. I just feel like my warlock and titan are just easier to keep alive. Its my first day with a hunter so it probably is get good.

Gambler's Dodge is kind of a second melee.

I was absolutely shocked to find that you can spec a Titan to have two grenades. I thought Bungie had decided to completely abolish having 2 of any melee/grenade.

Origin Story is disappointing as hell compared to the others, tried a few matches with it and it seems to me like UG's reticle sticks lobger on it's targets that Origin Story, bleh.

Phew, that 300 nightfall is tough. Foetracer helmet really saved it for our team at the end because of crit hits. Anyone know good hunter armor to get recovery up? Pretty hard to get away from mobility builds.

Way of the Trapper is pretty long.

Warlock and Titan are inherently more durablea and have options to deal with sheer numbers. So it's not so much "get good" as it is, adjust your playstyle to Hunter's strengths rather than Lock/Titan strengths.

With dodge you basically have infinite melees. I feel like a 2 melee charge exotic on a hunter would be a waste.

My buddy bought Destiny 2 physical on PS4, played it for a few hours and hates it.

He's offered to sell it to me, would there by any issues transferring a physical copy of this game?
