Unfortunately, the frequency of mass shootings like this does reflect poorly on America's international reputation. It makes people generally more reluctant to visit.

Granted, there's better ways of saying that than "America is a joke", but even if the country's populace is sharply divided on gun control, we've been unsuccessful in preventing these attacks. These attacks are defining the nation more than people being divided on gun control.

Vote assholes who put up with this bullshit out of office. Nothing was done after Sandy Hook because Republicans were cowards and shot down the congressional effort. This issue is one of the reasons why I have very little patience for people who don't vote.

Another mass of people dies, the survivors gets some thoughts and prayers from the people, nothing changes and this just goes on.

They aren't wrong though, honestly. They could have been more tactful with their approach; but, we need to have conversations about gun control, especially when likely supporters of lax free, easy access to firearms all were killed last night. It's a step in preventing something like this from happening.
