Elementary school children were killed and nobody cared. Until you go lower than that, we can be certain nothing will lead to gun control.
To a lot of these people unless you have brown skin your not a terrorist.There's been shooting and killings on Brown people, and on Temples by white terrorist the past 7 years. But the media will never cover that like they would a brown muslim terrorist. It would never get the same headlines, the same amount of circulation, etc.

I think America is just completely fucked. Even fully banning guns won't stop this. There's 300 MILLION guns in the US. You simply can't get rid of that. As long as there's that many, people will easily be able to access guns regardless of the law.

If one clip of ammo holds 30 rounds, give or take, and he has modded his gun to essentially auto-fire the clip in a matter of seconds, and it took law enforcement close to ten minutes to get to him, he probably fired close to a thousand rounds into the crowd before killing himself. It's a wonder he didn't kill more.

Many of the injuries were likely caused by the crowd panicking.
The shooter was armed with 10 riles and military style ammo drums. It's reasonable that gun control would be a primary talking point, and how nothing is being done.
Ironically, they kind of go hand & hand.

Maybe, maybe not, because it's Trump, but people owe it to themselves not to expect something to be called a terrorist attack if there isn't a motive to suggest it is. None of the mainstream media is calling it a terrorist attack either. It's shooting/mass shooting or massacre.
Trump not saying terrorist attack if the police/intelligence services uncovered motive would be on Trump, but the rest of the media and many others would have no issue calling it so if it was proven.
He had multiple automatic rifles, 10+ is the number being used. The assumption is there was minimal reloading and more the use of multiple different guns.

While America does have a gun problem, silencers aren't anything to get upset about.
1. Silencers are not silent. In fact they are not even called silencers. They are called suppressors because silencer is a misnomer based on Hollywood and videogames. Even if you use subsonic ammo with a suppressor it's still not silent.
2. Supressors are already stupid easy for anyone to get and the fbi has found no evidence in them being used for crime. A suppressor makes a gun almost impossible to conceal and is generally not going to be used in a heart of the moment homicide which most homicides are in the US.
If you want to fight the gun lobby you have to pick battles you can win. They have statistics on their side for supressors so ignore it and go after handguns which are responsible for 95% of gun deaths.
