Yup.

I managed to get one at a Treasure Truck, but then placed another order for pickup.

They came back with a cancellation, and told me not to order any more since I violated their terms. Didn't even know they had a limit on them. They didn't cancel my Prime or anything, but it felt pretty harsh and unnecessary. Just wanted, very literally, to pick one up for a family member for Christmas.
 
My walmart order that still said it would come tomorrow, still hadn't shipped as of today. So I messaged them and helped me out by cancelling my order without asking me.

Ordered on the 25th.

Great... I was so excited when I was able to place the WalMart order when it went up for 20 seconds. I will never buy anything from them again.

Walmart and Amazon have bumbled this launch so hard. Both of my preorders are sitting there. I can't do my planned video playthroughs or reviews now since I'll be so behind.

Should be the same as all video game TV settings. Game mode, all post processing disabled.

Yeeesh! I ordered on the 25th as well, and it says it's supposed to arrive by Thurs, Oct 5th. But it's still in "Preparing Order" status.
 
I was so glad to get my pre-order in, but turns out Nintendo also sent one to me. Gave it to a co-worker :p

Setting mine up and I'll definitely need an extension cable for the controller. If you want to give this a good spot anywhere near your tv you pretty much have to. Good that they made longer cables for the SNES but it doesn't really make a difference to me.

Personally I want an approximation without the flaws. I mean my NES had interference from other TV channels or whatever. I wouldn't want that emulated. Hell I mainly played Atari 2600 on a black and white TV and I would hate that now. I just want the sharp pixels to be softened up by scanlines and not have a blurry image as well.
 
In case it helps anyone else, the Walmart preorder I placed on August 25th shipped last Friday and is expected to arrive this Friday.
 
Although the estimate still says 10/17 (Amazon UK to US), it looks like the package is already in the states, awaiting pickup from UPS. Anyone else.

If it makes you feel better, my 8/25 Walmart pre-order is still in preparing status and is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Gave Walmart CS a call & they confirmed I'm back-ordered/already dead. I'd be furious if I didn't pick one up at the midnight launch to hedge my bets.
 
My Target order has been sitting in my city since Friday. Today just after 9am UPS passed it on to USPS to deliver it. So I'll get it tomorrow I think. That's freaking ridiculous. At least I'm getting it I guess.

My Walmart order is still just chilling there doing nothing. Screw them. First they make it available and cancel on me because too soon, and now theyre going to screw me on this order as well just to reiterate how shitty they are.

I was starting to lose hope, no email yet but I decided to check my status. It’s in the label created phase right now and says it should be here Wednesday and Walmart originally estimated tomorrow. I’m not going to complain.

passed customs during the weekend. they just gave me the UPS tracking number with a delivery date of October 3rd.

Funny thing is, October 4-10 was the delivery date amazon gave me before it was changed to 10/13.
 
Well my think geek order is sitting on my porch waiting for me to get home. Good thing I've got a flexible schedule and can leave and just make it up later in the week.

Yeah I'm fully expecting all of us with orders that haven't shipped yet are fucked. At this point I can only hope Nintendo actually does a decent job of restocking. I was really excited for this thing and thrilled to get an order in when it actually worked on the Walmart site. SNES is by far my favorite console of all time. I didn't care all that much about not getting an NES mini, but if production for this thing comes and goes without me having been able to snag one at non-scalper prices (which I'm not going to pay, fuck that) I'll be really bummed out.

And yeah, goes without saying but Fuck Walmart. I'm so glad I almost never have to rely on them for anything, and this experience taught me to fully ignore them in the future.

Aug 22 Walmart order is still 'Preparing' saying it will arrive by Friday, October 6th-- as it has for almost a month now.

Meanwhile I happened to get extremely lucky and get an order in to thinkgeek.com for (just the system itself) when it briefly went up on launch day, and just got a shipping notification.

Um WTF WalMart?

First they cancel all of their first wave of preorders, then they re-open on Aug 22 take a bunch and sit on them forever, then they sell some more on Aug 25 and ship those out right away?

Walmart support is now pretending I requested a cancellation myself so I guess this is going nowhere. Their responses have typos in them.

Latest word is to wait 48 hours to be sure my cancellation goes through. What?
 
I played Kirby Dream Course yesterday with my girlfriend. That sure is a damn fun golf game.

I'm loving this mini console, the only 4 games I've played in the collection are Super Mario World and Link to the Past both on GBA, Donkey Kong Country on GBC (I think? Not super sure) and Street Fighter 2 Turbo.

Also from what I've played Street Fighter is the worst game in this collection by far. It's not even Super: New Challengers. SF2 just hasn't aged well for me at all. Contra 3 is a hard ass game, and I've come to the conclusion both me and my girlfriend suck at video games.
Kirby Super Star is now my favourite Kirby game. F-Zero is neat for what it is, also way better than Super Mario Kart. Star Fox 1 is kinda rough, I hope 2 is improved when I eventually get around to it.

I'm almost feel like saving Final Fantasy 3(6), Earthbound, Secret of Mana and Super Mario RPG for a rainy day. They'll probably take up some time which I want to dedicate to each one.
 
Another Aug 25th walmart order that shipped here. No notification of the change in order status. Just happend to look today and saw it.
 
Going to pick up the extension cables tonight after work. I was surprised how short they are by default!

Pretty happy with it overall! Got in some Super Mario RPG and Super Mario World over the weekend, but going to be dedicating more time to it tonight.
 
This morning my Walmart August 22nd order changed from preparing to shipped. Now I'm wondering how exactly it's still going to arrive today though...
 
Got my 6ft extension cables today, work like a charm. Just need a big stick now so I can press the reset button from the couch!
 
I am so conflicted in how I am glad every time someone's Walmart order actually ships but then I refresh my order and am immediately hit with despair.

Oh man...I keep coming back to this thread and there are these random signs of life, that keep my hope alive.

I'm just sitting here getting my order prepared. So much preparing...

I'm right there with ya, buddy. Just checked again hoping I was in this "shipment wave" but nope. Should have ordered on the 25th, I guess.

No, same is true with my Amazon Germany orders shipped to US.

Just slow shipping I think. Not surprising with how cheap it was (AmazonGlobal Standard in my case)
 
This thing is so utterly cool. I haven't played much, but I'm digging it. I've never played any games on it besides some Mario World and a taste of Megaman X
