After playing a Warlock and Titan the Hunter's complete lack of floatiness is pretty disorienting, but I have to admit it's by the easiest one to use for platforming.

Join the DestinyGAF discord if you haven’t. Multiple clans hang out there and we’ve got quite a few raids through there.

Great week for me. Raid cleared on warlock and hunter, warlock kitted out in full raid gear at 305. Hunter is 304 and just needs some gauntlets!

Prestige NF also done on two characters. Trials still evades me though, not enough days in the week!

Yeah, it can be a drag since getting them solo is tricky at best and finding a group just to pick up chests is too involved for its own good. They feel like something better suited to be a one-time reward, maybe with better rewards for multiple Castellum completions to compensate.
 
Looking for 2 for raid,going as soon as they are filled. Starting at baths.

This is the group's first time through, not going blind but also learning.

Edit: I should say they are familiar with the encounters, but also are working through then for the first time.

Did the cleanest raid run ever. Never wiped but once at Calus because of a glitch. Got 2 exotic engram which I didn’t care as I have all weapon and armor for my Titan.

It feels like they were designed for a raid group to do right before Calus.
There are secret exits from the arenas that enable you to do the chests right after the third encounter without going to orbit or leaving and then you can also skip the Castellum and go straight to the throne room.
 
Man the Black Scorpion scout rifle is so close to greatness if it did just slightly more damage.

Feels so good to shoot but in PVP the enemies always get away with a sliver of health.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the Vanguard weapons from the Gunsmith engrams? I've been saving all my parts for when I hit 305, but if I can maybe get a Curtain Call that way would be great.

This is an infuriating mechanic to me. Often, you have LFG groups, or even groups on Gaf...go for it for a few hours, maybe get past an area or two, then disband...You then have to form ANOTHER group just to use your key...and that new group might not even have the same set of keys.

It would be one thing if you could solo them...but its quite another to have to team up AGAIN to use your key that you have already earned and just want to reap some reward.

So true.

During one of the Titan missions i died like at least 20 times and the Warlock was my 3rd character i did it with and had no problems with the others.

Some jumps felt like impossible to beat with that floaty shit.
 
So how does the Guided Games thing work exactly for the Nightfall? It's just some kind of Matchmaking for the NF?

I guess should probably do a Nightfall at least once at some point lol

Matchmaking is how I think of it. Can either help a single player with a clan member or get help from two people in the same clan. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's clan members and not two friends.

Edit: forgot to mention the tickets. Need those if you are going solo.
 
anyone know the details on the weapons offered for winning the Faction rally during the week? like, when do they start selling the gun and for how long?
 
Is there no app where you can see your characters in full gear like you do in game? I swear at some point during D1, we had an app that did that.
