Don't be a dick. Play it for 4/5 games over the course of a full week and make an effort for the whole 7 or so minutes that a round lasts, it's not that bad.

Spent last week leveling up my Hunter, so this is the first week where I have all 3 characters at max level.

Wow. You realize you are basically making 7 other peoples Experience worse because you are choosing to play something you dont like playing for the sake of making a meaningless number go up right?
Ugh. Its a damn shame Bungie still hasnt dealt with this. Theres a lot of people who ruin the Crucible for others by loot-chasing with idle thumbs, and its been happening since D1. This actually ruined Crimson Days, an event I absolutely loved, with people choosing to commit suicide or idle just to make games end quick so MUHLOOT.
I suggested then, and still feel, that the game should have a slot machine in the Tower with infinite loot rolls. That way this kind of player wouldnt have to go ruin Crucible (and Strikes too, plenty of AFKers - id love me some Vanguard loot but I hate Strikes. Do I go and shit it up idling? No, I plain accept I wont get that loot). Theyd hop on the game, go to the Tower, and spend an hour or two at the slot machine pressing X to get a new gun every few seconds. Since LOOTSzzz is their primary drive, I figure the slots would keep them occupied basically for infinity? And then matchmade activities would have lobbies of people who are there because they actually wanna play <3

If you hate it that much then just don't do it rather than fuck up a bunch of other peoples experience. You don't know how much they'll get to do that day. Someone may have time for 1 or 2 matches and they don't need you ruining it for them.

If you truly hate PvP, just disregard any PvP elements of the game and don't participate. The game is designed so you can keep up with the majority of players even if you don't take advantage of every single possible means of increasing your level every single week and are just consistent in playing the game however you enjoy it.
Last week I did not have any point where I knew I could focus for the full duration of a raid due to having a busy schedule and people visiting from out of town so I just did not participate because that would of possibly ruined the experience for the other players. I simply did not get that milestone. I'll be fine in the long run and so will you if you don't participate in a multiplayer aspect of the game that you cannot give your full attention.

You get way less xp if you afk in the crucible matches, as the Call to Arms milestone appears to also keep your k/d and efficiency in mind. I got more xp than my other clanmates in the same match, because I had higher k/d and efficiency ratios. None of us went afk or idled or fucked around, either.
the anomalies were wayyy easier than jumping through rings. Just need to look around while shooting you shoot them all you have so much damn time to finish a nightfall.
Even those I had trouble seeing though I realize it may be just me. I also have awful vision so that's very possible.
Either way, I'd prefer any of the other modifiers.

Anomalies are the least fun, but they probably give the biggest overall time advantage if you learn the positions and hit them all. I get the feeling they're the best for Rat King objectives.
This strike looks pretty tough, and quite long. It's never come up for me in the playlists before. Looks well designed though, with some interesting mechanics.

I'm hoping Bungie have a way of setting the algorithm to detect obvious AFK behaviour and penalise it. I'm not a big PvP fan, but it's alright and I always play to win.
Wait, weren't they supposed to fix that?
You get kicked very fast in D2, feels like under 2mins.
You can trick it or just run toward the NNE, but those people are just dicks.

Amazes me people are willing to just sit idle and waste time with a mode they hate just for a (most likely worthless) reward. Just stick to stuff you like, it's not that hard.

Bungie should know if FWC won because of the exploit and reward/penalize accordingly. Sucks for everyone else who did things legit.

D2 PVP is vastly different from D1. I'm still struggling with not being able to make huge 1v.multiple plays and realizing that teamshooting is a real thing.
Hope that we see an exotic sword/handcannon soon.

In your original nightfall post, you said you were PL 176, and in the above you said you were trying to get over the 270s.. Did you make a typo in your original post? I'm asking because if you are PL 276, then you're more than ready for the Nightfall.
Know what is a shitty experience? Being paired up against a full clan in crucible, having your random teammates quit and then proceeding to be spawnkilled for 6 minutes.

Eververse has the MIDA Multi-Tool "All the Essentials" Ornament this week for those who don't have it yet.

Isn't the default look (shader/ornament wise) of the MIDA in Destiny 2 different from the original in Destiny or are you saying you don't use the weapon?
Triggering that thing before they get destroyed is the real heroic mode.
I'm guessing a bit of both.
