Gran Turismo Sport demo coming Oct. 9

But overall. Damn that’s my GT I love. I’m noob in « sim » racing. The only game that fit me that well is gran turismo. Helping but not too much. Nice learning curve.
Graphics are absolutely stunning in cockpit view. Wow. Love he menus , everything looks polished. Can’t wait for the full game
 
Dumb question but I'm curious: I don't play racing games very often, but how close to reality are those driving physics? Does the game have a drift mode?

Mission Stage 6-2 is the highlight of the demo so far for me. Getting a gold medal in that was solid as hell.

Game looks and plays a lot better than the beta did I must say. Though I'm noticing some popin that wasn't there before.
 
This is still a beta client, so the full version could be more consistent. But its PD so :p

Can't. Fucken. Wait. Got a playseat challenge to go with my t300rs. Hope it'll hold.

It's pretty realistic, don't get into this game expecting to drift and race like how you do in the past NFS games. There's that weightiness to the controls when steering. I think I did notice a drift mode in the game!

I'm struggling there choosing the wrong time to refuel

But is fun as hell

Yeah. It’s amazing. I’m ok don’t notice much pop in beside in then mirror. Hope it’s gerting fixed here

It allows you to play at native 2K upscaled to 4K in the Prioritize Quality mode and a 60fps replays and better 60fps output on gameplay in Prioritize Frame Rate Mode. Correct me if I'm wrong folks!
 
Oh man I need to get a stirring wheel for this game, using the controller just doesn't feel like I have control of my car.
Anyone using the controller, how did you change your setup for it?

it did handle better on controller than how it felt when playing project cars.That being said, I would like to know what's the best controller setup for the dualshock4, to allow me from spinning or losing control when i brake and turn!

Thanks! That sounds great and I'm actually looking for a more realistic game and not arcade. Did a drifting course 2 years ago and it was quite fun. (: Thought that some practice might be nice :D

No worries. The challenge is awesome (for the price).
Seriously comfortable and almost zero horizontal wheel wobble. I little bit of vertical, but nothing I notice while racing with my T300.

How are the physics and ffb in this game compared to for example Project Cars 2?

I own and have played GT3,4,5. The car handling on controller is lot better in GT Sport. What do you folks think?

How do you select how much fuel you want? Or do you not need to refuel?

I'm pitting in at the end of lap 2 and it's not clear how to select the amount of fuel I want.

Put your fuel map to lean, use the dpad for the option, that saves fuel. On the last lap you can put it back to full power and enjoy passing everyone else, there is enough gas, you are just burning through it fast.

I still have to put more time into the demo but really, I'm not at all interested in playing I online at all and thus think this game might not be for me as the focus is definitely not single player content but they have a chance to prove me wrong.

Throttle control.

Go easy on the accelerator while the car is turned, gradually increase the amount of acceleration as you are exiting the corner, once you are straight you can fully accelerate.

All of your inputs should be smooth and gradual.

Well you have arcade, livery, scapes and the campaign mode left.....and splitscreen if you're into that.

After you choose your tyres. Just wait and it'll start filling up with a lap estimate. Just stop when you have enough
 
For those with the options crashing issue, boot the game with your network turned off, then access options menu via DS4 options button. Then turn your network back on and press the reconnect to network button on the home screen (bottom left corner.) It'll now save your options.
