The GameInformer article seems to have removed the mention of a PC version. Really hope that isn't the case.
Is anyone going to address this?

Hey, dev here...
So, I totally get it's frustrating how vague this has been. The jist of the situation is that CN is still finalizing some negotiations that are putting a hold on announcing the full list of platforms.
Its been liberating, really, said Graham of Steven Universe: Save the Light, which is both an Attack the Light sequel and Grumpyfaces first console project. We always had a bigger vision for the mobile game than we were able to do ... [with] the show lending itself to the scope we wanted and us being RPG fans and kind of wanting to get into some of these deeper RPG mechanics.
Its those mechanics that seem like the most likely way to pull in those who dont necessarily love Steven Universe, but love a good, old-fashioned RPG. We got to demo a few levels of Save the Light on PlayStation 4 and quickly found a lot to love. The 2.5D graphical style is gorgeous, for starters; its a more stylized version of the beautiful Steven Universe cartoons animation, and it helps to set a lighthearted tone for the game. Even those who dont recognize all the background characters populating the main hub world, Beach City, will appreciate how detailed each one is, and how adorably everything is drawn, from buildings to trees.

The battle system is also familiar and fun. Its a combination of active time-based battles from Final Fantasy, where characters wait for a timer to go off so they can attack, and the Mario RPG games, which grant attack bonuses when players hit the button at just the right time. Save the Light also adds in relationship stat effects and a skill points gauge, so that the team of four can perform special moves to cut down the time spent in a fight. Its one of those easy to pick up but slightly tougher to master kind of games, based on what we played. We couldnt get enough.
That much was obvious in the opening moments of the demo version we previewed earlier this month. From the beginning, it plants players in a fully realized, 3D version of Beach City, Stevens fictional hometown. The open world isnt as vast as, say, Hyrule in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but its easy to see that a great deal of care went into re-creating the boardwalk from the show, complete with its shops, hideaways, and the colorful supporting cast milling around. (Graham also admits that the games style was inspired by Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, so the teams love for Nintendo is as clear as ever.)
In Save The Light, Steven explores a variety of worlds on his quest to rescue the ancient light weapon he befriended in the first game. Joining Steven on his adventure are the Crystal Gems alien warriors Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl along with Stevens best friend, Connie, and his father, Greg Universe. As in the series and original game, the Gems have a variety of combat abilities, like Pearls spear and beam attacks, and Garnets magic gauntlets. Connie and Greg add even more depth to the action; Connies sword makes her a frontline fighter, while Gregs guitar lets him amplify the abilities of other party members. Steven, with few offensive abilities of his own, serves as the support character, since he can heal his friends, shield them from danger, and even resurrect them if theyre defeated. Not only are these abilities useful in battle, but the developers brought some of them like Gregs musical talents into the open world, too, adding platforming and puzzle-solving elements to the game.
"Who youre trying to impress or support is a huge part of the gameplay."
When we did the first game, we had all these big, ambitious ideas that we had to put into a smaller game, Sugar says. Now, we get to expand on everything, especially a lot of the relationship dynamics that in these small ways, sort of snuck into the first game. Like, you tell a joke that you know one of the Gems will laugh at. Who youre trying to impress or support has gone from a kind of Easter egg to being a huge part of the gameplay.
That relationship system is key to the game, and its part of what makes the adventure fit so well alongside the series it draws from. During battle, the game rewards players for defending teammates, or executing a perfect combo by having characters build up relationship points with each other. Those points build up over time, and when maxed out, they can unlock new abilities. For instance, Steven and Connie can gain the ability to fuse into Stevonnie, an experience who embodies the best of both characters.
From OP:Have they clarified whether this is coming to PC or not?
The game is a sequel to the mobile game Attack the Light and will feature a story from the mind of the show's creator, Rebecca Sugar. It is planned for release on consoles and PC this year, though Cartoon Network refrained from revealing which consoles in particular.
LolThis game is so perfect for the switch. I'd be dissapointed if it doesn't make it to it.

From OP:
This Gamespot article has about 20 minutes of gameplay footage. You get a good look at the battle system, overworld traversal, the quest system and how the dialogue choices affect what happens in the game ("Dave"?).

The only platform confirmed for now is PS4 (however we have revealed that it will not be a PS4 exclusive.)
So sorry it has to be so vague right now, but our hands are tied. I believe specifics will be confirmed very soon though. Hope this helps a little :/ Stay tuned!

Pretty sure that's not new.Whoa whoa whoa, hold up.
The Facebook clip says "coming this summer".
Is this the first time they've mentioned a release window? Cause that's a little sooner than I expected.
Sequal for Attack the Light (released for mobile in 2015) from the same developer!
Will be released this summer on Consoles

This blog post basically confirms that the only console platforms officially being worked on are PS4 and Xbox One, but doesn't preclude there being additional platforms added in the future. It's up to the publisher (Cartoon Network). Seems Grumpyface is ready and willing to port if they're given the go-ahead.
Not sure if we're still including PC in the equation, as it's not technically "a console". Some clarification would be nice.
Booo, was hoping to get this for Switch and PCI don't own a Xbone or a PS4 :/
Looking rad. Shame PC is off the table for now. Meanwhile, I need to get around to playing Attack the Light.
"Winter". No specifics beyond that yet.Looks fun, but tbh when is the new episodes coming?
I hope this is coming to Switch! It was announced right before it became a success and they never specified, but it's the perfect place for it.
