Mod Request: Can mods please DELETE my account, not just ban?

Hey, been trying to PM Gromph as per proper procedure but I'm not getting a response, but I'd like to have my account entirely deleted if possible? I plan on moving on but getting banned wouldn't really solve my privacy concerns regarding leaving my account behind.

PS mods should make a few burner accounts if they want to stay anonymous so that they can still be messaged because I really would have preferred to not have created a whole thread for this but don't know how else to go about this. Sorry, don't mean to be dramatic.

PLEASE DONT BAN ME IF YOU CANT DELETE, or I won't be able to be in contact with admins about the possibility at a later date

why don't you guys just PM a mod? Why tell the rest of us about it? I know they're probably busy, so it'll take longer to get a response.

edit: Sorry yeah I didn't read initially. It's just that there's been so many threads like this already it's getting annoying, and I wasn't expecting this one to be any different. Apologies

I doubt from a legal standpoint that your account can be erased entirely. You agreed to the terms of service when you signed up. I don't understand why you would want it deleted rather than just ask for a perm anyway but to each their own.
 
Lots of places on the net allow users to delete themselves manually, maybe EvilLore and co. can look into it. Would definitely lessen their workload.

I want exactly the same. I contacted Gromph and ModBot. It’s not like I could PM an actual mod now in this shitty place.
 
if you're handing out account deletes, i'd take one as well.

full proper delete please.

Privacy wasn't a concern before when the forum has everyone's entire post history available for non members to view ( and there were sites setup to specifically target members ) but now suddenly there is a privacy issue ?

So what's the story here ? The remaining admins are going to dox former users ?

If you live in the EU you can actually legally demand a company to delete all the info they have of you. I would assume an account is one of them.

if you're banned your account with your data will still be present on the website (it's not like the fbi is gonna search neogaf duh), i guess if you get deleted all your posts and data disappear

Because a future security breach may expose their account info. Don't know why that would matter in my case though, the only thing they would get is my email address.
