It is a bit sad that he was treated that way. It's clear he doesn't believe he's doing any harm and simply doing what he thinks is fair to everyone, which I think is an admirable goal, even if you could consider it misguided. But the way people spoke about him on here you'd think he was one of the most actively evil people in the world.
The hatred aimed at him whenever somebody brought him up was ridiculous. I don't believe the way to change harmful opinions is to act like a complete asshole towards them. It doesn't just apply to changing Boogie's mind specifically, but that would make you come across as unreasonable to anybody else who holds that opinion. I can't imagine I'd ever stop to listen to someone who's just throwing hate my way, even if it turned out that they had a good reason to do so.
