Yeah can't say I'm feeling the "I'm better than you" comments. It's people like that on their pedestal, that made NeoGaf a shit hole at times, and made certain threads awkward to post an opinion in.

Honestly once those people go, and the "look at me, I hate Tyler" thread creators I think this forum will be good.

I don't know if toxic is the correct word but there were certainly threads that seemed downright angry and hate filled. I get that some topics can become rather heated but the amount of dog-piling and ban baiting was atrocious. I hope that going forward, we can focus on discussing things like adults and refrain from mud slinging and name calling.

I tended to align/agree with the majority of GAFers but even the ones I didn't, I always respected their pov and was interested in what they had to say as long as they made a reasonable attempt at rational discourse. BANs are always going to be necessary but they should be the exception, not handed out like candy.

I 100% agree. I'm looking forward to seeing those rational discussions from people from all different povs without the dog piles. I really hope that's what this board becomes now.

Hell I even remember building that Xbox 360 repair guide some years ago. But it's time to end the ride.

Tyler, you fucked up big time. This site, even though it's a community, is still technically a business. It is your business, as an entrepreneur let me tell you... You fucked this up real hard. I mean, yes the site will run for a while, but it will be a ghost of its former shell. Like a star, slowly dwindling until its gone from existence. I suggest you start finding a new job or marketable skills that aren't Brazilian jujitsu or walking into nude people showering, because your income source is quite probably disappearing soon.

To all the guys I spent time with, played with, discussed with... See you on Reset Era. As many of the quality members are doing, I'll move there. Lots of rift raft will remain here. Also, I must say... It's a bit strange that deletion requests aren't being accepted. I understand the tos and everything but why make it so hard? Some people just don't want to be associated with the site anymore, especially if it turns into a shit hole. Is it because of Google ads? The biggest content creators are. I suppose we'll see where things go. But, just try an experiment. Go to the top right, hit mark forums read, then see how long it takes to fill the front page of each section. You'll notice a difference in activity. Especially with the community sections.
