So, seems they got what they wanted to me.

Pretending like this is some conspiracy that came out of nowhere is cute. There was an event that triggered this, with a questionable history behind it. And then there was the handling of that event which sealed things. The new site doesn't even have ads. No one's making 50k a month like EL is off of this place.

If they were confident others would follow suit, they'd just quietly leave and let the userbase numbers dwindle. For some reason, they think a public fuck you or NSFW post is going to inspire others to do the same. That or they just want a few minutes of attention on the way out of the door.

Where are the tons of people you see posting? In the last 30 minutes, there have only been about 300 posts on NeoGAF, 1/3 of it in this thread. Meanwhile there have been 10,000 posts on the other site.

For example, we already have our Secret Santa thread going, a GAF tradition here, with the same person who ran it. These community leaders are gone and not coming back.

If you think it was only the facebook post you need to do some looking. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if era gets ads, but the site was created by an event, not a conspiracy.
And, like I said you're in a honeymoon phase on this site. You're gonna have to find all new content creators, new mods. And, honestly, Era's honeymoon is going a bit better.

You do realize that a good bit of this came from his response to handling it rather than the actual allegations? Sure there have been people posting dumb things like he raped someone, but his response ot this thing might have been one of the worst head of a company responses I've ever seen.

I have given out at least a hundred codes too, I did it because I wanted someone to enjoy something I wouldn't, not because I felt like I was owed something. Some of the major contributors had enough of the owner for a number of reasons and don't want to deal with him anymore, so they are going to a place where they will be more comfortable. There really is nothing more to this.
