Someone wrote that whining here is like overthinking your ex. Maybe so, but I whine because I was a lurker since 2010 (never bothered to get an ISP email), than registered recently, as it's now possible with plain Gmail account. I just miss the times when GAF was the place to go for news and leaks, by now didn't even care about OT section. You just browsed GAF, watched amazing GIFs from gameplay, was up to date with everything without digging through bullcrap on numerous gaming website. Now I'm just patiently waiting for all this to come back.

You can always say, just read Era for the news. Nope, not gonna happen after I dig through all the GAF schizm, what is Era, how it operates etc. But maybe it's for the best - the cancerous tissue was removed and will soon devauer itself and GAF will heal. Amen.

Ok, Frank O'Connor from 343 Industries is Stinkles on Era and, oh boy, almost 5000 post since joining, mainly political bullshit. I love Halo, but the more I dig, the taste in my mouth gets more bitter. Un-fuckin-believabla. Like this man is bashing the March of Independence in my home country (Poland), saying like all the rest or morons, that it's display of power by Nazis/Facists. Honouring the day your country reclaimed it's Independence after years of oppression is a hate crime. WTF?

The problem is that people from outside view this march (the largest of this type in Europe) as a neo-nazi manifestation. When only a small percentage of attenders are in fact far right extremists. But they exist (as in every country) and use the occasion to show some transparents about white Europe with celtic crosses on them. And even this is an answer to EU pro mass immigration policy, not an act against a reasonable amount of foreign cultures. Predominantly, cause you'll always find fuckheads who read Mein Kampf as a bedtime story.

Is this a new feature? I never saw anything in the account options other than 'deactivate'.

Twitter you can easily delete, but never seen one in Facebook. I will have to look it up.

Edit: I looked it up, while there is no 'delete' option like on Twitter, you need to submit a request to them (they said it can take up to 3 months, lol, goodness). Well that is good to know for the future, thanks for the heads up!

Yes, but I remember they specifically mentioned that they would treat everyone the same in regards to moderation, not the 'cause you are a junior' rhetoric that was abused here heavily. That started to change after a couple of months I noticed in ban messages.

Patrick Klepek is fine. I first saw him on the 1UP show way back in the day and he was just a general games journalist with nothing controversial about him (he was no Shawn Elliott that's for sure!). Eventually he shifted over to GiantBomb, and I thought he fit in surprisingly well with the crew. I was pretty indifferent about his departure, but he didn't strike me as a bad guy.

In fact, Patrick was the only one that I know of who reported accurately on the situation that was transpiring here.

So I think your comment about him being a "rape charge waiting to happen" is pretty darn rude dude!

I don't think he deserves that, and i'd like to think we are above commenting on physical appearance. Perhaps it was just in jest though and I can't read tone.

Either way, I feel like ultimately he's just like most of the journalists in the games industry, all of these guys just get swept up in the rhetoric and play to the crowd.
