If you look at kiwifarm's bot, that bot record bans, whenever it be permanent or not. The membership being lost is result of the admins constantly doing very unfair bans, most of them being permanent.
And to add insult to injury, 1. Nobody has enough courage to stand up and complain in a new forum thread about the moderation system being one of the worst (Maybe not the worst, but still) and 2. Verified members register on that forum, failing to realize that the forum itself is very toxic and that NeoGAF would be better to join.
So for example, one of the Skyrim developer joined that forum, failing to realize that it's toxic. Not too much of a hit, but he did complain about the forum a bit. Then it gets bad when one of the Twitch streamers gets on that forum, posts some things and gets a ban. He might have posted in a bit of bad manner, but at most it should be a warning and not a long or permanent ban.
But, the worst injury, and the middle finger is when @Serebii joined that forum.
We could have gotten a lot of Pokemon information from him, as he's our trusted Pokemon fan/leaker(?), but no, he disregarded our forum and joined that forum! He even failed to realize the toxicity of that forum, and the steady decreasing of the membership!

At this point I wish he realized it now before it's too late...seeing as he doesn't post very much here anymore.
We have to do our best to bring him back somehow...!!
Sorry again if I seemed a bit angry...It's just mostly me ranting about that forum. I hope I didn't offend or violate the rule, but to put the point short; Normal members joining that forums is not good but not very bad either. But to me, it's a insult when a verified member joins that forum, because to me it feels like he/she could be a valutable asset to us, whenever it be a streamer/fan to boost our popularity or leaker to help us see the game behind/before the release (Remember the ESRB leak for Smash 4)
Thanks, and take care of yourself,
Michele
