They aren't even representing the story accurately. If the man had only been shouting slurs at the driver and the driver killed him, he would have gone to prison. The guy attacked first and then got hit with a defense of similar magnitude which killed him.
The bigger show of hypocrisy is their reaction to this versus that woman who shot the burglar trying to break into her home, with ERA insinuating that she shot him to satiate "bloodlust". Same sort of situation, but one defense is praised out the ass and the other is mocked.

It is not. I would not want to have a special tax check, even if I am positive I did nothing wrong. It is an extra hassle and if I made a legitimate error, then it can come up during the general investigation.
Denouncing people without any information they are doing anything wrong is shit behaviour and it is nothing but petty harassment. The people were rightfully banned.

So, they are doing a job, that is not particularly dangerous, harms no one, gives them (provided they do it well and look the part, I assume) a good income and their consumers - arguably - some pleasure. It is something that many people would not want to do because of shame and potential repercussions from family, friends and potential later employers. Also I assume that maintaining a body that yields a lot of viewers is probably also quite a bit of work. So I neither see any harm in what they do, nor any hyprocisis in talking about low acceptance / respect for their job. And yes, I would say it is more straining than being an instagram vacation model. I assume they have to deal with a lot of shitty customers, harrassers and some social stigma.
