It woulda been a good movie if they had the balls to let Rey turn. They didn't, which threw out literal mountains of setup and changed events that would have otherwise served as foreshadowing (the casino scene, interactions with Luke, etc.) in to meaningless filler.
Seriously, look at all the doubt Kylo has/had. Look how aggressive and gifted Rey was. It was all set up to be the most badass twist this side of Empire and they just... ignored it. Hell, even having the two force users team up as Kylo suggested would have been awesome. Instead we get an ending that retroactively makes the previous movie and a half worse. Such a fucking shame, especially since Infinity War came out just afterwards and didn't bitch out with their ending.

That was the frustrating part. Yes TFA borrowed a lot from the originals, but JJ set it up perfectly with giving you the mystery wanting to know who Rey's parents were. That in which created the awesome theories that if the internet existed after ANH, I can only imagine the same things happening back then.
And then Indie Arthouse Rian comes in and shits all over that, and I can't help but think a lot of that was idealog motivated, even if subconsciously, and it sucks. Same shit with Snoke.
How the hell do you not capitalize on who's Snoke was/is, but give us a shoehorned Rose and romp!

I thought of that, but more in the vein of Snoke being one with the force and figuring out how to do it like Yoda and crew. It would make sense where he said he foresaw what Kylo was going to do before the death.
Or they may write in a book or comic that they were both using some kind of force power to block Snoke from seeing, or giving him a false vision since they Force Skyped, lol.
Or ignore it all and we can treat TLJ like a bastard outlier.

Infinity War ends almost as close to the comic as it can get, but Civil War wasn't anywhere close to how the comic ended. Source material be damned, they will alter it for the big screen as needed.

That was my first and only infraction on ResetEra.

You do realise there are a group of people who operate on the discord's that gang report people and then trawl through the post history and report old posts to form a narrative for a ban....I'd say you were a victim.
As for the trans women in sport....I don't know where to even start except that as much as science has progressed you can't physically undo some things...there is nothing transphobic about it...I hope common sense prevails before someone actually gets seriously injured or killed when they try and push the narrative into contact sports.
