Restaurant owner was offended that a smoker was smoking 25 feet from his restaurant door. Smoker goes to security in the shop area and gets the okay from them to smoke at that distance. Smoker returns to the same area near the restaurant and begins smoking again. Restaurant owner comes out yelling at the guy while holding a fire extinguisher. Further arguing occurs and then the Restaurant owner shoots fire extinguisher right into the face/eyes of the smoker. A thread was made for it on reset with a disturbing number of people okay with the restaurant owner shooting the smoker in the face with the fire extinguisher.

To add more to the story, the restaurant is vegan and the assaulter espouses the belief that no animals should be harmed.

Also the smoker is apparently homeless. This all took place in Utah.

The only point of differentiation is if the target is antithetical to some aspect of their warped belief-systems, at which point they try to earn social credit within their dysfunctional peer-group by expressing that hatred as overtly as possible.

Huge herds of animals roamed the American plains for hundreds of years, hemmed in by predators and hunters. These animals are largely responsible for the fertile, deep topsoil that the European settlers found when they came here. Cattle-herding can be used to actually improve the carbon sequestration of a given plot of land while producing superior quality meat.

I have many a question here, but my main take for these bans is always why not inform instead of remove? If you have a view, let someone know and try to understand. Removing them only makes the confusion worse. I never understood how these people never get that.

Yay I just copped a ban for saying that it's impossible on a biological level for a man to give birth. Ive said this before and not stuck with it but I need to move to a better forum. That place is toxic with the assumption that everyone is to be viewed as a potential racist, sexist, transphobe.
