I think I bought Shadow of the Tomb Raider for like $8 a long time ago on Steam or GMG or somewhere... What a mess.

I just bought a physical PS4 copy last week from Amazon for $11.

These prices are expected, but still a bit jarring.

Google could you please lend me some money since you are so invested into spending it? I could use it to buy a PS4 Pro or even a 2080TI rig.

You can get basically every those games in near mint conditions for half this price or even less

i think i got rise of the tomb raider for like 6 bucks a few months ago, They want 30 for it. This has to be a joke.

Was interested to see what google would bring to the table and a little frustrated about the negativity around it around here.

Sorry guys, you were right all along. :messenger_face_screaming:

And so it happened, the demise of a little creature called Stadia, not much is told in the old books about it, a single mention in the annals of eternity, came and went like dust in the wind.

you dont own the games, and you run the risk in google killing this whole project if it aint working out for them.
that risk is way less with sony or microsoft

So standard price for play the game in streaming? And if someone don't have a fast and stable connection 60€ for playing with lags and pixelated?

I still say they should have implemented their version of a game pass with tiers of how many games you can play a month then a la cart if you go over. This price is ridiculous for these games.

The rush to beat xCloud to the streaming market has backfired for Google.

I don't see the service recovering from this terrible launch for a long time, if it lasts that long.

Google isn't even trying, honestly.

Jade and Phil must be pulling their hair out over there, unless they've just been drinking too much Google coolaid.

The only good thing I'm hearing is lack of load times, but next gen consoles will offer the same thing. They have a 6 month window before their specs are obsolete, and they want me to pay full price for mortal Kombat?

How would Just Dance even work? You shake the phone in your hand?

Anyway, the problem is that all these games are available at 90% discount in sales on consoles that have been around for a whole generation already. (To state the obvious.)

To quote the article: "Google Stadia's pricing model is better than a lot of people expected. There's no required monthly fee for streaming games you already purchased (up to 1080p/60FPS), but there will also be a Stadia Pro membership with better quality and free/discounted games. Now the last piece of the pricing puzzle has been revealed: how much the games will cost."

Well, that's perfectly clear then...
