Yep.Really? I didn't know that, if they expand on some of the ideas and mechanics of The Council the game will be dope.

Sure they are, lol.
It's a good opportunity to provide something that most of the thread hasn't seen, though.

Bonus Jackspedicey eye roll.
So is this the part where we pretend that isn't a Trump slogan, or a major part of the political identity for him and his supporters?
Yeah i think also Schindler's list have triggered lot of neo nazistsIs it an agenda or merely a group of writers telling a story that triggers you for whatever personal reason? I ask because I see over reactions to benign games from both the left and right like this all of the time.
yep, dontnod is a french company. Imagine you are so freaking woke that you care about this kinda issues...that are literally a continent away.oh shit it's french too??
daamn hahaha
I would have bought it in an heartbeat... sadly even on the retail version you still have to download the last episodeJust here to shill a AA narritave/adventure game that a lot of people should support instead.

A great occult story set in the late 18th century with Light RPG elements and historical characters like George Washington and Napoleon Bonaparte.
It's really great and you can find the 1st episode for around 2$ on PSN and i'm gussing Steam and Xbox live.
Well welcome to every episodic game released this gen, you just have to except the fact everything will be digital sooner or later.I would have bought it in an heartbeat... sadly even on the retail version you still have to download the last episode
Everything being digital doesn't exclude the fact that you own an incomplete copy, (literally) out of the box.Well welcome to every episodic game released this gen, you just have to except the fact everything will be digital sooner or later.
I don't see what the big deal is. They're just ripping down a portion of the border wall that's probably been there for a long time. Trump has barely built any new actual wall and besides, why deify this fraudster or any politician? It's silly. Just enjoy the video game without digging around looking for offense like some blue-haired ResetEra member playing the latest game.
From a narrative perspective, there's plenty of places they can waltz across the border - even legally and encouraged during certain hours in some cities. No need for these dramatics unless it is required for some reason.
Exactly the same. From the first episode in season 2 and I knew where this was going. I wasn't wrong at the endEveryone laughed at the "PEOPLE LIKE YEW ARE WHY WEE NEED DIS WAAAALL" line in Episode 1. Now howdja like it.
Lol. Damn, first one was really good despite average writing and mixed vocal talent, one of my favourite games of all really. Finished episode 1 was like lol nah, boring plot, really bad writing and bad voiceovers, amongst un-interesting plot and characters. The start of the first one when you walk out the classroom with the music - so good - I love the world building and goofy characters.
It's like they suddenly turned into one of those pricks that wants to get accepted by this targeted community. That's how it felt to me at leastThis is The Last Jedi of Life is Strange, just somehow worse.
I love the original, so, so much, and as many people have pointed out, it's hard to believe it's even the same developer.
The Kool-Aid works quickly. Luckily it doesn't work on everyone or we'd be screwed. It's like they suddenly turned into one of those pricks that wants to get accepted by this targeted community. That's how it felt to me at least
Not really surprising, Dontnod has been injecting politics into their games for years. Remember how Vampyr strong arms you into murdering a blatant Trump metaphor?
I disagree. I wouldn't want to play a game set hundreds of years ago where i had to kill a Bernie Sanders metaphor either. I'm sure there are plenty of people on the left who feels the same about a Trump metaphor. It's moronic, preachy and completely out of placeThat's exactly it, yes, people simply don't like seeing the opinions they don't like but are all about seeing those they do like and lament there's not more of it even if there's plenty of it to go around, lol.

Dare I ask why? Considering that Bloodlines 2 is the main thing on the menu for PDX. Swansong and Coteries of New York (which comes out 12th this month, I believe) are more of a side projects for them.Instantly more relevant to my interests than bloodlines 2.
I knew Dotnod were pretty political in their games but I didn't think it was this on the nose. Whoever said that politics of this nature were going to get worse in games, they were right.

I really don't see the issue with either game and the "politics" they chose to show with their characters and storylines... Maybe the delivery is all hammy, but nothing is jumping out to me in those screenshots as being over the line... Is every white person the kids meet a racist caricature or something?
Why date your game like this? That's the biggest problem I have with any media that gets politically specific like this.

Ugh, Tell Me Why is going to be insufferable, isn't it?
I can already see the ending... it's just a black screen with white text: "TRANS RIGHTS", and the Kotakus and Polygons of the world will make it their agenda to prop up the game as often as possible while the rest of the gaming community ignores it.
Oh man this looks so woke and cringey. Poor BroTeam, he's gonna drink himself to death playing this last episode.
