I was immediately skeptical at the time and posted about how it seemed like a load of bullshit and that the campaign seemed sketchy at best. Four people got really mad at me and stopped talking to me for 2 weeks before they sheepishly came back and apologised after they realised how dumb they looked.

Also saw lots of people getting caught out by this which was hilarious:

I watched it as a dare to myself. I honestly made it about 11 seconds.

As bad as the pictures are, it's so much worse when it's animated.
 
You'd think he would be sealed up in an airtight spacesuit. Yet the guy has exposed eye holes and mouth.

Don't watch the whole video. He full on dunks his whole head under, then starts smearing it over his head. It's in his eyes and everything.

I'm guessing he played Conker's Bad Fur Day when he was an impressionable adolescent, and the Great Mighty Poo boss gave him either...special feelings...or a rather unique and unorthodox role model. :lollipop_downcast_sweat:

Fuck that!

I actually watched a little bit of it. But all I saw was him neck deep with his mouth probably a few inches away from the crud.

Then I stopped.

There is no way I thought even this dude would go full on slathering himself in it. I was thinking he would be an asshead and just sit there in it and then jump out.

If YT is going to ban porn, they got to step up and ban this shit too (yes, pun intended).

You know what makes me cringe? Watching someone talk into a camera, and then the video cuts to a profile shot as they continue speaking into that other camera. The camera which no longer represents the audience.

I hate the current Youtube trend where they have an edit/cut every 5 seconds for no apparent reason. Even in the same sentence. It's fucking bizarre.

It's like:

"I was walking to the EDIT shops one day and I noticed that EDIT my shoelace was untied, so I EDIT bent down and tied it up."

Like, what the fuck is this? You're not editing in other footage or even other audio. You are cutting up your sentence for no fucking reason. Is it because you millenials have the attention spans of goldfish and you have to jazz up a fucking sentence?! Just stop it you dumbfucks. And they all copy eachother like brainless sheep

IT'S CRINGE AS FUCK!

Is there a term for this type of editing? A Derp Cut?

Tell me I'm not the only one noticing this.

You are not alone. What started as like, a Shane Dawson thing or something, quickly became commonplace for other stay-at-home vloggers. "Jumpcuts." That is the name of your bane.

I noticed it. I assume they do it to get their video length down.

A full view of a video over 10 minutes is worth more than a video under 10 minutes, but there's no scaling. So a view of a video with a duration of 4:40 is the same as a view of a video with a duration of 9:59. So to get more full views, I imagine they trim the length down.

We're fortunate that YouTube's plentiful with niche content. The mainstream on the site's just awful.

Ok, that makes sense then because I noticed that they seem to edit out all the pauses between sentences like where a full stop/period should be. It makes all the sentences flow into eachother with no rhyme or reason and it's like being in the head of a schizophrenic. I hate it.

As soon as I notice a Youtube video is doing it, I shut it off immediately. It offends my intelligence.
