Impractical Jokers (Feb. 2020) are making the step up to the big screen in February. While their pranks have been great to watch over many, many season - can they translate this to the silver screen with great effect?




On the other hand, we have the lads from Jackass who have a pedigree in making solid movies, but will Jackass 4 (Mar. 2021) be more of the same with beat up old guys (Vid, NSFW as it contains the dick in snake bit). Will revisiting the old format be a hollow cash grab or can it capture the early magic?

I think the Impractical Jokers show is quie funny at times but on anything else than that, they're just lousy. Sal Vulcano is trying to be a stand up comedian but he's terrible at it, their live shows are awful and their spin offs stink too. The idea of the show is funnier than the participants.

Jackass was always better.

Jackass by a mile. There is pent up demand, and their stunts are more fitted to a movie. I love Impractical Jokers, but they virtually have a channel to themselves now so I think people can get their fill anytime they want.

The last jack ass movie came out in 2018 and made $2.2mm opening weekend. I bet you can't come up with the name of that flop without googling. It did not have the jackass name but was "from teh creaters of jackass" Johnny Knoxville and Chris Pontus.

JN is about to turn 50 and is going to break a hip soon. They should just make bad grandpa 2 instead!

I love both of these shows, so it's hard to pick a winner. Netflix put on Jackass 3 when I clicked play random so I'm in the middle of it now. I forgot how funny (and gross) that shit is.

Jackass 4 will definitely be the better movie. I love both, but the Joker's non-tv show stuff just isn't as good. Now as to which one will have better sales, that is a tough call.

Jackass just because they have had movies before and more of a brand name. They also take shit further. While jokers is relegated to late night non cable channels and they are pretty tame for the most part.

I won't see either though. Those kinds of shows bore me now for the most part.
