Paging Dr. Farnsgoth

Now it's just spamming.

This is spam.
In your opinion.

In my opinion, your opinion shouldn't matter when it comes to which words and thoughts are fit for public consumption.

I'm actually surprised that South Park is still "allowed" to exist with the same style of jokes. Make similar jokes in some other project and the angry sjw mob will cancel it before it even enters production.

Honestly I think they saw the mob coming and pre-emptively cut them off with PC Principal.

Life of Brian was highly controversial at the time of its release and caused quite a stir, especially amongst religious Christians calling it blasphemous. They protested it and wanted the movie banned. Outrage culture is nothing new, it just comes in different forms, such as the rise of social media making it more prevalent.

Social media has given the people with the most screws loose and the most free time the most power. It takes one unhinged SJW to whip up an online outrage mob that the companies feel obliged to pander to. This is very new.

This is very new.

Social media is new, yes, but unhinged people calling for boycotts, screaming about censorship and cancelling people is not. And it's not just "sjw", it's all sorts of people, from all across the spectrum that has been doing this since the dawn of time. Outrage culture has been the cornerstone of entertainment media since the very beginning.

Remember the Hangover? It came out just over 10 years ago. That's not that long ago.

I remember how popular this movie was and how everyone and their dog was repeating the line "paging Dr. Faggot" without a single spilled tendie. Everyone knew that the butt of the joke was not homosexuals and that the word was being used in the way that South Park used it to describe obnoxiously loud bikers.

Now look where we are. If a movie producer dared include a line like this, it'd be the end of the world. In fact, I'm surprised that Twitter hasn't tried to retroactively cancel Todd Phillips who directed the Hangover.

What do you reckon, gaffots? How did culture change so drastically in a little over 10 years?

You were saying... LOL

Man that was a weird fucking time for Joaquin.

His rap "career" 😂

He really lost it for a bit after losing that Oscar nom for Walk the Line.

Now all he gives a shit about are cows and global warming.
