Pneumonia deaths in china stemming from flu in 2019: 150,000.

These new figures are misleading but I applaud them taking such a precautionary measure. It means the coronavirus has nowhere to hide if they go with a total approach. Whether you get pneumonia from the flu or from this virus, its just as dangerous.

Scary but if they were hiding the numbers then they may just gradually tell the truth over the next couple of weeks by trickling in more reported deaths gradually.
 
It's all smoke and mirrors people, to keep us silent , mass hysteria doesn't benefit anyone ... but numbers are gonna rise, because they faked them.. and now they trickle them slowly.

But if you used your brain you would know China would do this .

Except it's not ... you do t get pneumonia from the flu, which is a virus, you get it from a secondary bacteria infection, that why antibiotics don't work in the corona virus ... it's pneumonia from a virus which we don't have a cure for ... a virus you have to ride out . With care .

Antibiotics won't help against this virus ... but it will prevent other bacterial infections, so that the body can fight the virus ...

That's how it works with viruses.

I know because about 20 years ago I had a variant of a virus that was known , but I had about 10 times more heavy than regular, I was still at school when I got it in my late teens, I literally slept for 3 months , awake for about 2 hours a day, that year I had to drop my study, after a year I could function, took me 3 -4 years to have the energy I had before the virus ...

No medicine...

I can tell you I don't ever want to experience this again.. so maybe I am to careful now.
but I prepared for the worst for my wife and son. Masks and everything.

I know that and I talked about people who need antibiotics ;-)

So i meant sick people having other infections based on bacteria.

So now (with the newest info we gave) that we know China was quietly under reporting their cases how can we trust they have it under control? I'm inclined to believe that the bumber of cases is 100k+, like the leaks and rumors suggested, but yeah i'm pretty sure i'm fearmongering 🤷🏻‍♂️
 
I am willing to go as far as a couple of K, 300k, its highly contagious, their population is 1.3 billion.

And this me, low balling! Why would you use al these containment measures?

Of course it's vastly higher. Otherwise they wouldn't lock down cities, people in their appartments, deny travel, lock em up in mobile cubes, forcefully detain, expect everyone to provide daily body temperatures and transport from their homes and bribe people to snitch if they know someone ran from Wuhan or is lookins sick. No, this is not standard procedure for being in control.
 
They need to hurry up and quell this. It's really starting to hurt the world economy. Once they do, they need stricter regulations on these markets.

Could be number correction. Remeber deaths are not "Died today" but were "Recorded today." This could be getting us closer to the real numbers.

Major cities in the US will have problems, but as long as they don't ignore it the summer should help.

This virus is odd in that we don't really understand all of the way it spreads, and sometimes doesn't spread. I have a inkling that it's ability to spread through aerosolization of fecal matter may be a big clue. In china I believe most apartments don't have bathrooms? If so that means communal bathrooms are a great place were it can spread easily on surfaces and through shit.

In the US most of us have personal homes that are not crowded, and, even if we live in apartments, our apartments have their own bathrooms.

The key to staying safe is to stay away from public transit (hope you have car), public bathrooms (hold your shit till you get home), and don't eat out. Also, wash you hands in a non-bathroom sink as much as possible and use hand sanitizer with at least 70% alcohol.

All of that said, living in an apartment during a pandemic is a horrible idea. I suspect a lot of millennials who scoff at the idea of owning a home in the suburbs will be buying them in the next few years once they realize how dumb it is to stack yourself on top of other people in buildings.
