Hello lovelies. I'm not dead, although I know probably most of you wont remember me / didn't know who I was to begin with lol

I've been gone since early October from here.


November 1st I got my wisdom teeth out via oral surgery. It took WAY too long to recover from. I'm feeling much better but they fucked me up lol.
WARNING: Stupidly unflattering pic of me right after I got back into the truck after surgery in my mouth (that I not only posted on twitter, but also in a fav streamer of mines' discord of OVER 5K people...dont do drugs kids)

A week after that, one of my co workers in my Dept. (of only around 10 people, so when we lose a person or someone's down for the day, it effects us hard) fell and broke her ankle. She was out for 7 weeks.
2 weeks after that co worker left, another got super sick and was out 2 weeks.
2 days before THAT co worker came back , our team lead suddenly fell ill a week before Christmas. She's been out since then and hasn't been back. She got a bad infection that went to her brain and damn near died.
So since right after Christmas, we've been down at least 1 person.

So unfortunately for me from all this and my Bf's dad getting close to death and a whole lot of other IRL crap, I gained a WHOOOOLE lot of weight. Like I was the heaviest I had ever been and fuck me I'm embarrased by it. I've been on a diet and starting today, ironically enough, I'm starting on the treadmil and working out and stuff to aid in getting it down even more.

Oh and I started streaming on weekends too. Having a lot of fun with that.

So that's what I've been up to. What's been up with you guys? What all have I missed?

(Also hope this kinda post is ok, Didn't know where else to post it lol)

I mean it, it is always good to make it through some rough times, been there myself. Enjoy your time now and enjoy what you like doing like the streaming.
 
Assuming gyms will get shut down sooner or later. I'd make sure you get a kettlebell and a few weights to keep at home so you can keep it going. 👍

WAAAY ahead of you. I have some weights and my own treadmil at home. I don't go to gyms people freak me out
 
Welcome back! I saw one of your old posts the other day, and I was thinking "aww, I guess she left." I'm glad to see that's not the case.

I popped in while you were away, but I saw you about the forum when I was lurking, welcome back (^u^)/

Keep up the good work with the weight loss, it can be a struggle, I know first hand, I'm down about 60lbs since highschool, but I still need to shed some of the extra me hanging around

A couple tips:

Try to keep your starting workouts low impact (ex.: walking, planking), and then challenge your body more as you hit loss plateaus. I wouldn't bring weights in until you've lost at least the same amount of the weights you're using. Your body acts as a weight when you exercise, so as you lose weight you lose some of the power behind your work out (this is where many hit a plateau and give up)

Stretch! Working out can tighten a lot, over tightening in muscles can set you back quite a bit if you get injured. One of the great parts about being a lady is we can do yoga without being called names for it, it keeps you limber and can help remediation if you do get injured
