Im seriously beliving 13.3 because of fisher now. I will probably buy both this time. And if the rumours about sony getting mgs, silent hill and castlevania the holy shit, day 1.

Running at 1080p, frames are between 30-60.

Not looking too good, the AMD RT tech, but caveat is, this was work of only one engineer over course of a month. I have to wonder how a 4TF Lockhart would run this at? 480p? :messenger_grimmacing_

Not really, there's fanboys on both sides that couldn't give a shit if their console of choice was/is weaker.

There's fanboys which are generally acceptable in my book, like a bit of banter but ultimately don't care, and there's what I like to call fantards like TimDog, dealer etc. and whoever are the PS equivalents on twitter who will only accept their console being the best and will find a way to prove it, even when that's an impossible task. You know like the power of DX12 will make up the tflop difference kinda bullshit.
 
Firstly, I don't know anything. A non TFLOP prediction:

GPU clock: PS5 a little faster
Compute units: SXS a few more

CPU clock: SXS a little faster

Ray tracing: PS5 better implementation

RAM: Even

SSD solution: PS5 a lot better.

I just want a 1 TB SSD and the option to attach a 6 TB nornal HD to it to hold all my games.

I am happy to transfer the few games I am playing at the time to SSD.

I dont really want to fork out for 7 TB of SSD, that is just a waste,

I was expecting games to run at 1080p- 30fps with RT enabled. I wasn't far off by the looks of it.
 
Everyone, please start going through the history of people's post on here, other forums, twitter, facebook, and elsewhere to save their statements pushing the 9.2TF nonsense. We need to have them on the record. I guarantee you there are people deleting their post history as we speak.

I agree with everything he wrote. I'd go even further and add that raw power isn't even the second biggest incentive to buy a platform. Above that, I'd position both games and brand presence, which includes such things as available services, language translations and brand awareness,. Most people here are American and don't even think about those differences because they take it for granted (which is pretty much human nature). I know a lot, really a lot of people who won't buy a system which doesn't allow them to play games in their native tongue. Also, when XBL was officially absent in my country, many people (including me) refused to buy an Xbox because you didn't get the full option. And on top of all that there is the price, which I'd say is the tipping point of an average customer's decision.

This is the only reason I made an avatar the first time the train was about to set off, I must be placed on there somewhere lol, can I be hiding underneath stealth like, peaking out lol
 
Raytracing still not worth it imo. I would take lighting tricks with higher fps/resolution any day. I mean that raytraced minecrat looks good but with mods it can look that good if not better and the impact to performance wont be as bad imo of course.

So they should make a video today on a conference that is scheduled for tomorrow, then do another video on that conference, instead of uploading stuff they actually tried?
They could be fan boys and publish about the Sony reveal after one month for all a care, but THAT istance is wrong and excessive. Just move on please, not everyone is a fanboy EVERYTIME.

I believe Lockhart is a thing too.

But as long as the CPUs are identical, I don't think underperformance of regular PS5 and XSeS will be a problem. Graphically, you can simply turn up a few switches and put ray tracing at full throttle. But physics, game logic, etc. runs on the CPU and so I think two SKUs will not have a negative impact on the games.
 
I'm still doubting Tommy because of all the ridiculous things he said, but if PS5 specs are what he claimed then I'll eat my words.

I'm not doubting the possibility that he intentionally gave out some ridiculous info to mask the real ones. Tomorrow will be interesting :).
 
Sony going for MS head tomorrow and they gonna do it with numbers and PS5 secrete sauce first they gonna talk bout dualshock 5 new features second part is gonna be really technical with tech demos and last 2 new trailers never before seen.. if any of this doesn't happen I'm requesting self ban

As an Xbox fan since the OG Xbox, i'm happy with what i'm getting regardless of if the PS5 is more powerful honestly. The new Xbox absolutely dwarfs my PC and Xbox One X and that's all i wanted.

For the ps5 to have more RAM, a much better SSD and the same kind or better RT, then expect to pay at least $50-$150 more than the SXS which is looking like a $450-$500+ as is. I think some of you are in a severe dream land yet again.

Not so sure that 60 to 30fps encoding can induce stutter, wouldnt it then be all over the place? Through out the whole minecraft techdemo and not just on few slow pan camera movements/segments. The same techdemo video from other youtubers had the same issues.

Also just noticed, there´s not av1 codec support. Dunno how far the development really is, the so called next gen video codec.

Journalists don't know shit when it come to exact specs, they just do their own speculations like anyone else, they may hear things here and there for sure, but no one knows really what the specs are expect for devs that works in the industry of gaming, even a very well known journalist like Jason said he doesn't know the TF of PS5, and that he just heard from devs that PS5 and Xbox are both powerful.
