Dont care which one has the power crown, I always end up with both xbox and ps, I just want sony to release a console that is capable of things the pro isnt, so far, everything points to that so alls well on that front, I'm 100% more interested in games than I am a power crown I cant wear.
 
Oh boy. After some of the absolute bile warriors have said about the Github leaks, and anyone who believes them (i didnt by the way), its going to be legendary if it ends up true.
 
You guys need to chill out, it could mean it's not higher than the SX which would make Sony fans sad. We literally have a dev her that says the 9.2 number is not correct.

Again though, a lot of people have this bizarre fixation with TF numbers.
TF's on their own do not purely showcase a systems power.
It somehow became the marketing method for the mid gen refresh.

It completely disregards anything the teams have done regards optimisations on a higher and lower level.
CPU, RAM etc...
 
One tweet and everyone is losing their shit again. I'm not checking back until after the conference. Hopefully the hysteric will be gone by then.
 
I'm at work today, I'm sure I'll be able to sneak Neogaf on my PC so I can just watch things explode, on a side note, I'm very excited to see what Sony has for the PS5.

No need to downplay it if PS5 will be more powerful than XSX. Even 7-10% on GPU alone, alongside with ( possible ) higher SSD speed and ( possible ) higher RAM capacity and bandwidth

less than 10 possible a bit sour, but something like 10.x or 11 who gives a shit. Hell may still be the legendary 13.
 
I keep trying to tell you all... if you absolutely NEED the PS5 to beat the SX in pure flops, you're going to walk away upset more than likely.

Think about the console "war" as an actual "war" this time. Flops in your naval fleet. But what about weaponry? Troop count and skill? Air support?

Flops is a single unit of measurement and not the be all end all.

Ive stuck by 11.6 and will stand by it. If you get an 11.6 machine with other shit I've talked about, you PlayStation fanboys will be crying... but you should be crying tears of joy, not sadness. Not once has my source even made insane claims, and trust me, he was in a position to be sucking the very juice off of sonys throbbing analog stick. He's always given very realistic terms to me, starting with 10.5-11.5, hitting 11 with issues, and then 11.6 with a possible down lock if things didn't change. That's the last I heard, and I would assume that means either things got fixed (likely) or things didn't (not so much but possible).

This gen is really interesting. It's the most interesting launch I've been a part of.

stop coping. PS fans have never given any reason to believe they will be totally fine without having a power edge. I was here for 2013 when it was revealed that the ps4 had a power edge.

As long as the console provides games and backwards compatibility, I'm satisfied...

Same here; I always end up with Sony and MS plastic boxes under my TV :)
And I am sure, regardless of what PS5 TF count is, the console with be amazing, and games on both systems will blow our minds.
