Handshakes out, handjobs in

Ive been wondering about this... This is surely going to decimate dating apps and just dating in general, yeah?

Lmao wtf is this a joke. Wwe is now essential service ok

I think this is because it gets people spending. It provides new content to keep people occupied and glued to the tv during lockdowns, rather than being out and about and causing trouble.

On demand content is going to become a big necessity and now.

I wonder if it actually has had a negative impact on app usage or not, meet ups are pretty much definitely not happening as frequently, but I bet there was a surge for a while as people were just not going anywhere or doing anything, maybe banking contacts for when they can get out again.

Just heard my state is requiring masks to go out anywhere starting Sunday or you can be refused business. Anyone know how to make an easy face mask?

Tis the future. Immunity certificates, blood tests, nasal swabs. This is going to be what we will have to go through for the rest of our lives.

Thanks China.

Study: COVID-19 Takes Over, Kills Immune System Like HIV

Wouldn't that explain the 4 HIV inserts that were reportedly edited into this virus?

Although unconfirmed, the Communist Chinese would have done this, if they could, being the evil commie cunts that they are.

It's like we've gone full circle.

Wasn't this denied quite early on in the outbreak? So much for that.

Maybe it's because I haven't left my apartment in almost a month but the more I read about this virus the more suspicious I get. I mean look at this shit:

When we all perish all that will be left is covid-19 and cockroaches.

And that's in top of having to put our liquids in tiny sandwich bags, taking our shoes off, taking our belts off, emptying your pockets, taking your electronics out and putting them in a separate tray and bending over to check we don't have a bomb shoved up our arse.

Can't even be asked to go anywhere with all that shit. Maybe that was part of the plan as well? Make the act of flying such an ordeal so that less people take to the sky's and reduce air pollution as a result.

So how are so many people recovering from it? Not saying this is bogus but wouldnt this suggest that there are different strains then? Or is it possible for the same disease to manifest in wildly different ways like this?

Here is some stats on Quebec where people were living when they got infected.

Hospitals: 3.2%
Nursing homes: 49.8%.
Other seniors' residences: 22.2%
At home: 19.2%.

72% were in old age homes. Our elderly are being hit hard. Our numbers are also something like 99% over 60 or some crazy stat like that for deaths. And if you read my thread we had an issue of 35 people dying (5 from covid) at a residence, some covered in shit. We also just added a shit ton of deaths from the last week that got chucked into our count and our PM made it sound like they were from these old age homes.

HIV airborne virus that kills old people. Wonder why China would be interested in that?

Thats what we don't know yet. Its pretty odd that this virus can be completly dormant in people, some being 100% asypmotmatic the entire time they have it. And for others it can destroy their internal organs and cause their body to drown them.

There were rumbles about blood type, and lots of people are talking about hemoglobins. So is it genetic, or something to do with the blood? clearly age has some invovlment, and hypertension. And with patients reactivating who knows, maybe in 5 years if you got this thing your body will shut down like AIDS. We don't know for now.

There is something in the virus that makes it go from nothing to a killer in some people. There is so much we dont know if only China told us how the engineered it and how they planned to use it to kill of their elderly population we would know so much more :messenger_squinting_tongue:

My county updates (SoCal), as of 4/16/2020

Total cases: 384
Recovered cases: 191
EVER Hospitalized: 73
EVER ICU: 23
Deaths: 13
Tested: 6823

So from that a few things locally can be observed..

CFR: 3.4%, though MOST of the deaths were old people (I haven't seen stats recently, but in the beginning they were all 70+).
Hospitalization: 19%, this is right in-line with stats we've seen elsewhere. Roughly 20% of people who get COVID-19 will need to go to the hospital.
ICU Needed: 6% (of total), 32% (of all hospitalized), 56% CFR for the ICU :(

Takeaway.. don't be one of the cases that goes to the hospital.

Well you gotta prove you got the vaccine somehow right? Wanna come into my country? Well show me your vaccine papers.

The genie isn't going back into the bottle. The virus is out there and we have to live with it.

No need to be all doom and gloom about it. There will be a vaccine. It's a matter of when, not if.

It is fucked up. But humanity recovered from some tough shit before.

Well lets hope that IF is sooner rather than later.

But even when there is a vaccine you will still have to prove you were vacinated, and vacines don't last forever so if you got it last year and not this year then you will be vulnerable to the virus and not allowed into my country.

Its been almost 20 years from 9/11 and if you fly you are still feeling the effects of that. We are going to be dealing with the effects of this virus for a long time.

Thanks China.

I haven't been following as closely the last couple days so I might have this wrong, but I've been getting the sense that things are starting to open up again? Perhaps prematurely?

I think most people would be accepting of "open with limitations" for most things. It's just the prolonged full lockdowns that are not feasible and only allow people with good paying office jobs to continue working (I say this as someone with a good paying office job).

Don't know if it was posted yet. but Switzerland's slowly (over time in steps) opening up again by the middle of next month (under safety precautions like the social distancing already implemented + other measures). This is due to us avoiding the dreaded hospital overflow in most parts of our country.

The only thing I'm concerned by is the early (May 11th) opening up of (some) schools which I partly understand since the parents go back to work, but worried by since they were very unclear about safety measures implemented to make social distancing at school work.

Really fear a second wave in that regard and possible consequences of firing up an economy and having to immediatly close it down again. On the other hand, if measures work and we can keep our cases on a similiar or lower level its fine.

I think Trump's reopening guideline is pretty solid and safe. But U.S should establish constant temperature check, massive quick testing and contact tracing system like Taiwan and South Korea.
Bible Belt States with traditions of religion-gathering should be cautious, too. Major cluster-cities are the places where business laid most and also were hit the hardest. The re-opening of WA,CA and NY could take a long time.

this reopening of society this early.. i just hope this isnt an astronomical mistake

Really it CAN be done properly.. but the different states really need to be on the ball.

Essentially they need to work to nip any new spread right away. Contact trace, and isolate as best they can.

I am still not convinced the asymmetric spreaders are *everywhere* though, but it is likely some exist, so it'll make tracking things hard sometimes.

As long as it continues to spread, but slowly, most work/etc should be able to resume. It'll vary by industry and even by location, but it is do-able, and needs to be done on some level to get things work again.

I work in an hospital in Quebec and let's say some stuff going on in seniors residences is out of this world

One of these residences in MTL has 50% of its 200 patients infected. They will not announce it publicly since it's a private residence and don't want to lose face.

Its not only Quebec. Lots of chatter around that its in the US too. I bet we see the same in a lot of places. Nursing homes being in despair and abandonded. This virus also really fucks with old people. I might even say its more contagious in them too. I am sure you read about the home with 105 out of 154 infected?

But its disgusting what has happened in this province. Better be some hell to pay.

And change your username Markov is the superior Russian. :messenger_squinting_tongue:

Yeah it's scary, all patients at work are over 60 basically. There is a few minor exceptions but the ones that end up in the intensive care unit are the elderly.

Markov was indeed the superior Russian but I can't change my username, I really loved Malakhov in the mid to late 90s heh

Seriously when did we normalize ass eating?

I get it if people want to know if they can doggy or missonary it during Corona Chan, but how about we stop there and don't go into every single page of the kamasutra.

I guess next they will let us know how to safely have sex with a pre teen with COVID? We can't leave pedophiles out in the cold during their time of need amrite?

Sister-in-law's trade school (in CA) just called them tonight and said they might be starting up again on May 6th.

UC system and community colleges will still be online only until the Fall though.
