Speaking of which, you could be a politician, or a lawyer, if you're not one already.
For one thing, predictions were quite higher, well over 700m close to 750m in the U.S.A., 1.7 worldwide. The bleakest predictions claimed 680ish in the USA and 1.5ww.
Also, you love your multipliers but while you mention a 2.8 multiplier during Christmas
against no competition whatsoever, you omit the drop.
TLJ started close to TFA, -20m, then there's the record-breaking second week drop, 69 vs TFA's 40 percent against Jumanji, which you make sound like a big deal except it wasn't. TLJ being bad made it into a big deal.

TLJ was dead
within four weeks, during holiday season which is the most long-legged. It was dead long before Black Panther.
What actually happened is that TLJ had a huge front-loaded opening because of Luke,
word got out quick it was a funeral for SW, people still needed a movie to watch and that helped Jumanji, that's it.
Then, Disney hoped Asia would make up for it, except either word got also to China, or they didn't like TFA as much as the west did, or possibly both.
And yes, it was definitely a Battlefield and Ghostbusters situation, aka people put in charge of a big franchise thinking they could do and say whatever they wanted forever and ever.
When you say "this is The Last Jedi of Series" it is not meant as a compliment.
