The trends mean very little at this point, as the methods for counting deaths by Covid 19 have changed throughout that time. As mentioned, we are now including nursing home deaths, but crucially, we only class deaths as being via Covid 19 if they have been tested positive for the virus, not if they are just suspected of having it, as I believe a lot of other countries do.

This means our actual death count is predicted to be nearly double the 30k deaths there, as we haven't been testing suspected deaths anywhere near as often as we should (for obvious reasons).

This is why comparing curves between countries is a largely pointless affair.

And then people in these CHLSDs were abandonded and dying in shit and of starvation. 80% of our 2500 deaths are in these old age homes. Last 2 days we had 90 out of 98 and 72 out of 78 deaths in these homes.
