So recently Tobiwan the CS GO and dota caster got accussed, he did not handle it well, he should've just kept his mouth shut and say he will hire a lawyer. Angryjoe handled it much better and just say nothing about it. The majority are absolutely fucking insane. No two ways around it. Their crusade for self fulfilling prophecy is scary almost. The reason why they are like that is simple, if you fall out of line you're being kicked out (GAF was the same at some point, the same people in power). Its nothing short of a dictatorship they so much hate, but they're clouded AF. Its kind of a shame because I admit they have the scoops, OT's and everything GAF used to have in its hey days. Communism in theory is something GOOD, it just has never been applied in a working manner, because totalitarians/dicators abused its idea.
Nationalsocialism (nazism) has nothing good in it, its goal is to eradicate everything foreign/alien.
The goal of communism is to better everyone's lives, the goal of nazism is to eradicate all the disagree. The former isn't tied to other ideas, whereas nazism is firmly tied to authoritaritan ideas.
I won't debate that and if you reply to further relativate nazism, I'll put you on my ignore list. I'm German and I've learnt enough about nazism to never ever accept any relativating of that horrendous shit. I think you're definitely right, in that the idea that Nazism is a left-wing ideology is demonstrably false and hinges on little more than nomenclature.
On the other hand, you're definitely wrong, because the failure of communism was not an historical accident. Communism didn't fail because evil sinister men happened to be at the helm. No, Communism is fundamentally immoral and there is no possible recovery from that foundational flaw, as poignantly illustrated by its trail of disasters across geographies, across cultures and across time periods. It's inherently totalitarian, and therefore inherently immoral. That it also leads to less prosperity is but a side-effect.
Therefore, the "We the virtuous will get it right this time" kind of approach can only be proclaimed by those who fundamentally misunderstand the nature of communism.
