I'm closing in on 40 and I'm happy to have kids to cover for my enjoyment of cartoons. I wouldn't binge any, but I can ge a good laugh out of some cartoons here and there

I wanted to like the anime they made a few years back, had some pretty awesome art and setting but they dropped the ball pretty bad with the action/plot, it was mediocre at best and full of filler but at least they tried..

This looks like a joke instead but i guess the kids will like it

Not everything is for everyone and there are some things I don't understand people spending time watching either.
That's the beauty of having a crapton of media just out there to find, though, never ending pile of things to blow time on.
 
That Jonathan Blow thread is going as expected. The man is a blowhard who takes himself way too seriously but seeing that hive react with the usual stone throwing of he said something, the other guy said something, therefore they're free game is as revotling as always.

I swear to god, these far left goons look like a pack of middle-east goat fuckers throwing stones at women accused of adultery.

I can see them muster up at best like 10-15% of the population.

There's nothing wrong with socialist practices like basic safety nets etc but these imbeciles don't know what they're talking about when they call each other comrade and wish for a revolution.

I feel like it depends on how much of your life is about that and then in what way. I know guys who make a good living buying and selling toys of all kinds at conventions, but still have other aspects to their lives.

That's where I'm at.
Let's be real, video gaming beyond FIFA/CoD is still seen as a weird hobby by the wider population.

But when you game yourself, you that there's a massive difference between a dude who plays 2-3hrs in the evenings and some weeaboo-fucking neckbeard with FF7 Tifa posters on the wall.

Same can be said for literally any hobby, the obsessives suck.
 
^ Fair enough. I have two friends who are super into Gundam... and they always try so hard to convince me it's cool. Their apartments look so damn gaudy to me.

Maybe a blind spot. I left kids cartoons and action figures behind a long time ago, but to each their own. I just don't see the point. It looks like clutter to me.

Pretty much what I gathered from it as well. They want: free money, housing, food, education, healthcare, stacked courts etc. basically they want Cuba but think they can keep the same quality of life they have now. I just wish God would allow them to live in their dreamed up world for one day to realize what they wish for.

The movie "40 yr old Virgin" came out in 2005 but it might have been 50 years.
Culture has changed so mucn (not for the better).

It's a common thing to give the same thing a different title, they probably moved on from cancel culture because they identified it as being detrimental to their cause.

Good grief. They are not moderate.

Moderates believe there's nothing wrong with listening to genuine concerns voiced by women and healthcare professionals about the trans movement. Voicing that is an instant ban on Era.

I'be said it before and I'll say it again: GAF has some people with pretty unsavoury views, but if I challenge them, I know I won't get banned.

If I try the same thing on Era - instant ban.

That's why I'm here, not there.
