I love the Fifth Element. I recently bought in on Blu-ray and it is as much fun as it has ever been, also, the last third always makes me shed a few tears, I am a sucker for romantic scenes, especially the second to last scene in the temple.

I kind of hated that movie when it first came out and watching it in the cinema. Felt so wacky, gay and silly.

I can appreciate it for what it is these days, though.

For those that don't know, the song sung by the alien was designed to be impossible for a human to actually sing.

Caveat here, if memory serves, I think a few notes were skipped, but this is still crazy impressive.

She does skip notes and changed the rhythm. This is a better performance

Damned impressive. The movie version always bugged me for that reason. Obvious sound editing.
